Chennai, August 30 - Tamil star Dhanush's Thiruchitrambalam has performed exceptionally well at the box office, as a result, it has raced past the 100 crores mark worldwide. D44: Sun Pictures Announces The Stellar Star Cast For Mithran Jawahar Directorial

Chennai, August 5, 2021: Dhanush is gearing up to start shooting for his next film, referred as #D44, with director Mithran Jawahar. The movie will be produced by Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures. The film, expected to be a family drama with its share of romance, will mark the fourth collaboration between the director and the actor, after Yaaradi Mohini, Kutty, and Uthamaputhiran. ## The story is set in two time periods — the protagonist's college days and his adulthood. Dhanush has two love interests, one during the college portions and another for the latter part of the hero's life. #D44 will have music by Anirudh, who will be joining hands with Dhanush after five years.## The title of D44 will be announced on August 5 at 6 PM. Meanwhile, a day before the title announcement, Sun Pictures introduced the stellar star cast of D44. The Mission Mangal actress, Nithya Menon has been roped in to play one of the female leads.
