'Krrish 4' To Be Hrithik Roshan's Next After 'War 2'

Mumbai, December 27 - Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan has been busy with the highly-anticipated spy action thriller War 2 since last year. The movie, scheduled to be released in August 2025, is being directed by Ayan Mukerji and also stars Telugu superstar Jr. NTR (Bollywood debut) in the parallel lead role. ## The final schedule of War 2 will be shot in April next year and after wrapping it up, Hrithik will start superhero biggie Krrish 4 which will be the actor's immediate next, according to the latest report by mid-day. ## It is said that the script work on Krrish is nearly done and the makers are set to take it on floors by the summer of 2025, with schedules in Mumbai and parts of Europe. Agneepath director Karan Malhotra will reportedly be directing this much-awaited superhero title while Rakesh Roshan will produce it with a big studio. ## It is to be noted that Rakesh Roshan directed the first three films of the franchise (including Koi Mil Gaya) and this time, he has taken a back seat from this duty. Hrithik Roshan and Director Kabir Khan In Talks For A Post-Apocalyptic Thriller

Mumbai, June 18 - Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan and director Kabir Khan are discussing a possible collaboration. Hrithik is currently shooting for YRF's Biggie War 2 with director Ayan Mukerji and the shoot for the same is nearing completion. ## According to the report by Peepingmoon.com, Hrithik has already started looking for his next film and is in talks with Kabir Khan for the same. "Hrithik and Kabir are discussing several ideas and have met multiple times over the past few months. Talks are at the primary stage right now, but they're developing projects together and are hopeful that they come to fruition", says the report. ## It is said that one of the potential films the duo discussing is a post-apocalyptic thriller based on a Hollywood movie, for which Hrithik has already secured the adaptation rights. Hrithik Roshan Locks A Blockbuster Line-Up After 'Fighter'

Mumbai, May 3 - After the debacle box office performance of "Vikram Vedha", Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan is hoping to turn the tide with Fighter, co-starring Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor, which is currently in production for January 2024 release. ## Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Fighter" is shaping up nicely and is among the most anticipated Indian movies at the moment. The aerial action thriller is being shot on a huge scale on par with Hollywood action films. The plot details have been kept under wraps for now but "Fighter" is already being seen as a huge money spinner for the makers. ## After "Fighter", Hrithik is in no mood to turn his head away from big-scale action entertainers as he has locked action-packed blockbusters for the next few years. Most of the shoot of "Fighter" is already completed and the makers are hoping to wrap it by June. After this, Hrithik will move to Yash Raj Films' War 2. ## The spy action thriller "War" is already an established brand after its blockbuster success in 2019, and now, YRF is making sure the sequel reaches the next level. The studio is planning to make "War 2" on a bigger scale than the first film and has roped in one of the biggest South Indian superstars Jr. NTR to headline it with Hrithik. ## The inclusion of Jr. NTR has made "War 2" a proper blue Pan India film that will be helmed by "Brahmastra" director Ayan Mukerji. Apart from being a sequel to a highly successful film, "War 2" is a part of YRF's highly successful ambitious spy universe. It will follow the events of Salman Khan-fronted "Tiger 3" which releases on Diwali this year. The shoot for "War 2" begins in November this year. ## After "War 2", Hrithik will headline his home production's Krrish 4 which is easily the most-awaited film of him. The 4th installment of the superhero franchise was announced way back in 2016 but it couldn't get on the floor due to some reasons. It is now moving forward as Rakesh Roshan has locked the basic story and is working on the screenplay. ## The official announcement is yet to be made but it is said that Karan Malhotra, who previously directed Hrithik Roshan in "Agneepath" (2012), will be directing the upcoming superhero sequel. Rakes Roshan, who directed the earlier three films, will be monitoring the progress of the movie this time around. The makers announced Krrish 4 in 2016 with a release planned for Christmas 2018.## It has been a long time since the movie was announced but it hasn't taken off. The covid-19 pandemic further delayed the plans, but now, it seems the movie is finally moving forward and is getting ready to commence filming in 2024. ## According to Peepingmoon.com, producer and the creator of Krrish, Rakesh Roshan has roped in director Karan Malhotra to helm the fourth installment of the Krrish franchise. Ranbir Kapoor's 'Shamshera' Dialogue Writer Piyush Mishra Opens Up On Film's Box Office Failure

Mumbai, March 20 - Ranbir Kapoor-fronted period action drama film Shamshera was one of the most anticipated movies of 2022, however, it bombed at the box office and turned out to be the biggest disappointment for Bollywood. ## Directed by Karan Malhotra, Shamshera met with poor reviews from critics which didn't help the movie to take a big opening and then, the poor reception from audiences as well made sure it go nowhere at the box office. The movie got criticism for poor writing and direction which led to its major disappointment. ## Now, the dialogue writer of the film, Piyush Mishra opened up about its failure at the box office. In a candid chat with Hindustan Times, the veteran actor and writer said that "I also didn't understand why it didn’t work. People said it didn’t work due to the script". ## "I think we have already seen fantastic stunts so many times. Now you will have to compete with them, the revolution in the South. Baahubali was not merely CGI, it also had a very solid script. To compete with a Baahubali, you will have to write an equally brilliant script. Pushpa also had a very good script, it wasn't made just like that. Adding CGI is only beneficial when you have a solid script, CGI without a script is of no use", he added.## Though there wasn't too much criticism for dialogues, Mishra said that it's the screenplay that decides the quality of dialogues in a film. "I derive my inspiration only from the screenplay. Dialogues depend on the screenplay. It's not possible to write dialogues for a bad screenplay, at least for me it's not possible", he concludes.## Produced by Yash Raj Films on a budget of around 150 crores, Shamshera did a worldwide business of approx. 60 crores, including approx. 48 crores domestically.
