R Madhavan Reunites With Ajay Devgn For 'De De Pyaar De 2'

Mumbai, May 24 - Actor R. Madhavan is set to reunite with Bollywood star Ajay Devgn in the sequel to romantic-comedy De De Pyaar De. Directed by Anshul Sharma, DDPD 2 has Rakul Preet Singh as the female lead, reprising her role from the original movie along with Ajay Devgn. ## According to the report by Pinkvilla, R. Madhavan has come on board to play a key role which was supposed to be played by Anil Kapoor. Madhavan and Ajay Devgn previously shared screen space in the horror thriller Shaitaan which was released earlier this year and was a big box office success. ## "Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan had a horrific face-off in Shaitaan, and now, come 2025, the duo will again lock horns in De De Pyaar De 2. However, this time around, their on-screen chemistry will have a complete makeover, as the face-off will have a lot of comic undertones", says the report.## The sequel will chronicle comic events in the family of Rakul Preet Singh arising out of the relationship between Ashish (Ajay Devgn) and Ayesha (Rakul). Salman Khan To Start Shooting AR Murugadoss' 'Sikandar' from June 20

Mumbai, May 24 - Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is gearing up to start shooting for director AR Murugadoss' action drama Sikandar, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna in June this year. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the movie will be released on Eid 2025. ## According to a report by Mid-Day, Sikandar will go on floors on June 20 with a power-packed schedule in Mumbai. The pre-production was reportedly begun a few days ago and the makers are on track to start rolling it in June this year. ## Murugadoss is presently directing actor Sivakarthikeyan's Sk 23. It is said that the filmmaker wants to complete as much of SK23 as possible before Sikandar goes on floors and to avoid any delays, Murugadoss has assembled a dedicated team to expedite the completion of SK23. ## Salman Khan has already begun his preparations for the movie and it is said that the actor insists on performing the action sequences himself. Chennai, May 23 - Thalapathy Vijay's science fiction action drama The Greatest of All Time post-theatrical digital rights reportedly sold to Netflix for a massive sum of 110 crores, according to a report by Only Kollywood. ## Directed by Venkat Prabhu, The GOAT is easily one of the most anticipated Tamil films of the year and it is expected to set the box office on fire. Thalapathy Vijay's films have also attracted massive viewership on digital platforms and GOAT is expected to repeat the same despite non-direct OTT release. ## Netflix has been the home of many South Indian films after their theatrical releases and has paid huge prices for the same. The streamer acquired the post-theatrical rights of The GOAT for Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi languages. ## Apart from OTT rights, the satellite rights of The Greatest Of All Time have reportedly been bagged by Zee Network for 90 crores, making it a 200 crore deal for OTT+TV rights. ## Produced by AGS Entertainment, The GOAT stars Vijay in dual roles, leading an ensemble cast which includes Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Ajmal Ameer, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Sneha, Mohan, Laila, and Jayaram, in key roles. Sathyaraj in key roles. ## The teaser of Munjya is interesting as it features a peculiar creature, an all-new CGI actor who appears to have a special fondness for Malaika Arora's 2011 hit track Munni Badnam Hui in Dabangg.
