Hyderabad, February 3 - Sai Pallavi is set to replace Deepika Padukone in the sequel to director Nag Ashwin's sci-fi film Kalki 2898 AD. Deepika, who played a pivotal role in the first part of the Prabhas-led blockbuster, was dropped out of Kalki 2 due to creative differences. According to the latest Telugu movie report, Sai Pallavi has replaced Deepika to play the role of Sum-80 alias Sumathi, a pregnant lab subject of Project K and the prophesied mother of Kalki. The official announcement regarding the film is expected to be made soon.
