Official Theatrical Runtime of SS Rajamouli and Prabhas' Baahubali - The Epic Revealed
Hyderabad, October 7 - In one of its kind experiments, director SS Rajamouli's epic duology, "Baahubali - The Beginning" and "Baahubali - The Conclusion", are set to re-release in a single epic cut on October 31st this year, under the title as Baahubali - The Epic. The official announcement of the film was made earlier in the year on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Baahubali - The Beginning. Since the makers are bringing both films in one cut version, there have been talks about the film's theatrical runtime, as the combined runtime of both films is close to 6 hours. As per the latest update, the film has been censored with a U/A certificate with an approved runtime of 3 hours and 45 minutes. Recently, producer Shobu Yarlagadda confirmed during an interview that the final runtime of the movie would be around 3 hours and 40 minutes. It will be the longest Indian film ever in the modern era. The filmmaker also revealed that the first half of Baahubali - The Epic will consist of Baahubali (2015) portions, while the second half will feature scenes from Baahubali - The Conclusion (2017). The makers are treating it as a new film and leaving no stone unturned to promote it. They have also planned to promote the film in the USA via online media. Produced by Arka Media Works, the film stars Prabhas in the title role alongside Rana Daggubati, Anushka, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, and Nassar in prominent roles.
