Mumbai, June 2 - Superstar Mahesh Babu's fantasy action comedy Khaleja has exceeded expectations in its opening weekend and has become the highest as well as the first double-digit Telugu re-release grosser at the worldwide box office. ## Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, Khaleja was re-released on May 30 amid the huge hype, and it scored the third biggest opening for a South Indian re-release film with approximately 6.75 crores gross. The movie scored good hold on the second day to earn around 2 crore gross, followed by around 1.50 crore gross on Sunday. ## Khaleja grossed approximately 10.25 crores in its opening weekend worldwide, including around 9 crores gross in India and 1.25 crores overseas.
