AA22xA6: Allu Arjun's Most-Awaited Collaboration With Director Atlee Officially Announced With Behind-The-Scene Footage

Hyderabad, April 8 - One of the most talked about collaborations of the Indian cinema between Pan India superstar Allu Arjun and director Atlee has officially been announced on the actor's 43rd birthday today, with the behind-the-scenes footage of the team meeting. ## The film will be produced by Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures, and it will involve artists from India and Hollywood. The announcement video of the film, tentatively titled AA22xA6, shows Allu Arjun along with director Atlee and producer Maran meeting at Sun Pictures' office in Chennai, where they discussed the project. ## The video then shows the trio fly to Los Angeles to visit Lola VFX Studio along with Spectral Motion, Fractured FX, ILM Technoprops, Ironhead Studio, and Legacy Effects to discuss this magnum opus project. The RRR star was invited as the chief guest for the event, where he confirmed his next four films. ## It is known to all that Jr. NTR is presently shooting for Prashanth Neel's action drama, tentatively titled Dragon, along with his big Bollywood debut under Yash Raj Films, War 2, a spy action thriller which also stars Hrithik Roshan and is directed by Ayan Mukerji. ## Apart from the aforementioned films, the Telugu superstar reaffirmed Devara 2, to be directed by Koratala Siva, amid the endless rumours. The actor stressed that the second part of his 2024 hit will definitely be made, and the shoot for the same will start after Dragon. ## There have been rumours that Jr. NTR will team with Jailer director Nelson Dilipkumar for an action drama film. While the actor didn't mention the director's name, he confirmed a film with producer Naga Vamsi's Sithara Entertainment. Mumbai, March 22 - Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted action drama Salaar Part 1 - Ceasefire was re-released on March 21 and it did fantastic business at the domestic box office. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film was originally released in December 2023. ## Salaar: Ceasfire re-released without any special occasion, an unusual Telugu thing. On its first day, the film grossed approximately 3 crore in India, which is the biggest re-release opener for a Prabhas-starrer. It wasn't released in North India, otherwise, the opening could have been higher. ## The advance booking gross of Salaar: Ceasefire was one of the highest for an Indian title which led the foundation of a very good opening. The movie was expected to score ever higher opening but lack of release in North probably reduced its potential, though the numbers are still fantastic and easily the biggest opening for a re-release title in India in 2025. ## During its original run, the action blockbuster scored approximately 618 crores at the worldwide box office, including 488 crores in India. The movie was originally released in December 2023 and grossed over 600 crores at the worldwide box office. ## The advance booking for the re-release of the movie was opened on March 13 and it is seeing easily the best response for any re-release title in India. In the 5 days so far, the movie has sold 55K+ tickets on Book My Show for all days. The second part, Pushpa 2 - The Rule, which was released in December last year, emerged as one of the biggest Indian blockbusters at the worldwide box office with a gross collection of nearly 1750 crores. ## During the media interaction, producer Ravi Shankar confirmed that the third instalment, which is titled Pushpa 3 - The Rampage, will come out sometime in 2028. The movie is being produced by industry giant Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts on a huge budget. ## NTR-Neel's is one of the most anticipated Indian films in the making and as had been reported in the media, the movie's title has been confirmed as Dragon by the makers. During the success celebration of Tamil blockbuster Dragon, which is distributed by Mythri Movie Makers in Nizam and Ceded Area, the makers confirmed the title and also revealed a few more details. ## Producer Ravi Shankar confirmed that NTRNeel is titled Dragon and it is a unique script that hasn't been seen in Indian cinema before.
