Jr. NTR's 'Devara: Part 1' Censor Certificate and Theatrical Runtime Revealed
Hyderabad, September 12 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR's much-awaited action drama film Devara: Part 1 is set to be another lengthy film with a theatrical runtime of close to 3 hours. The movie is directed by Koratala Siva and also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in prominent roles. ## As the movie is gearing up for its grand release on September 27, the makers have completed the censor process more than two weeks before its big screen debut. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has passed the film with the 'U/A' certificate with an approved runtime of 178 minutes (2 hours and 58 minutes). ## It is said that the CBFC had asked makers to make some changes which led to 4 modifications, including 3 changes related to the violent scenes in the film. After the changes were made, the certificate was given to the makers for the September 27 release. ## Devara marks Jr. NTR's second film in a row to clock the theatrical runtime of nearly 3 hours. The actor's last film, RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli and co-starring Ram Charan, clocked a theatrical runtime of 3 hours and 2 minutes. ## Devara is directed by Koratala Siva and produced by NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts. The movie stars Jr. NTR in a dual role alongside Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in their Telugu debut.
