Hyderabad, July 21 - 7 years after scripting box office history with Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion, Pan India superstar Prabhas has done it again as his Kalki 2898 AD has become the 7th Indian movie and the second for the actor to enter the 1000 crores club at the worldwide box office. ## The sci-fi epic, directed by Nag Ashwin, has done what it was expected to achieve before its release on June 27. It took just 25 days for Kalki to breach the milestone of 1000 crores worldwide gross, making it the 3rd Telugu-origin title and 4th South Indian film to do so. ## Kalki 2898 AD scored an estimated 990 crores gross globally in the first 24 days and on its 4th Sunday (25th day), the movie added another estimated 12 crores gross, taking its worldwide cume to over the magical figure of the thousand crores gross. ## Including the 5th Sunday collection, the epic blockbuster has minted an estimated 733 crores gross in India and 270 crores overseas. Mumbai, July 21 - Director Nag Ashwin's sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD has become the third highest-grossing South Indian movie at the Hindi box office after beating SS Rajamouli's action drama RRR on its 25th day. ## The Prabhas-fronted blockbuster scored approximately 4.85 crores net collection on its 4th Sunday which took its total cume to approximately 276 crores net in 25 days to become the third biggest South Indian movie in the dubbed version.## SS Rajamouli and Prabhas' Baahubali 2 remains the top South Indian grosser in Hindi with approximately 511 crores net, followed by Yash-starrer KGF: Chapter 2 with 435 crores approx. Kalki 2898 AD is only the third South Indian movie to enter the 200 crores net club in Hindi.## Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, Kalki has had an excellent run in the dubbed Hindi version which is heading towards finishing around 300 crores. Hyderabad, July 16 - Director Puri Jagannadh and actor Ram Pothineni reunited for the sequel to their blockbuster film iSmart Shankar. It is one of the biggest hits in the career of both Puri and Ram, and now, the duo is looking to repeat the magic with the sequel Double iSmart. ## The last respective films of Puri Jagannadh and Ram Pothineni were box office failures but Double iSmart is expected to bring the duo in winning ways. There is genuine excitement for the movie among moviegoers and the makers have locked record business for the same.## According to Aakashavaani, Prime Show Entertainments, which earlier produced one of the biggest Telugu blockbusters Hanuman, has acquired the worldwide theatrical rights (excluding the Hindi version) of Double Ismart for 60 crores (6 crores recoverable and 54 non-recoverable). The area-wise details are not yet revealed.## The deal is said to be a record for Ram Pothineni and the makers are looking to cash in on the big opportunity upon the film's release on August 15, on Independence Day. Mumbai, July 15 - Director Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD is a one-horse race at the Hindi box office and is marching towards 300 crores net club after a very good third weekend despite the arrival of new releases in the form of Akshay Kumar's Sarfira and Kamal Haasan's Hindustani 2. ## The Prabhas-fronted sci-fi epic remained the first choice of Hindi moviegoers after it scored approximately 21.70 crores net collection, more than the combined opening weekend total of Sarfira and Hindustani 2's 15.80 crores net in the third weekend. ## The total Hindi collection of Kalki 2898 AD has crossed 250 crores net at approximately 255 crores after 18 days. The movie will beat SS Rajamouli's RRR (272.80 crores net approx.) in its 4th weekend to become the third highest-grossing South Indian movie in Hindi after Baahubali 2 (511 crores) and KGF: Chapter (435 crores). ## With new releases not performing to the level of expectations, Kalki 2898 AD is expected to continue to perform well for a couple of weeks and is on track to enter 300 crores net club.
