Hyderabad, October 17 - Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja's period action drama film Tiger Nageswara Rao is hitting worldwide theatres on October 20 in multiple languages, including Hindi. Directed by Vamsee, TNR is easily the biggest film in Ravi Teja's career in terms of scale and budget, leading to huge expectations in trade.## "Tiger Nageswara Rao" worldwide theatrical business has been locked at the biggest ever for the actor. TNR's pre-release theatrical business has been valued at approximately 37 crores worldwide, including 31 crores for the two Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana). ## The AP/TG theatrical business of 31 crores of TNR, includes approximately 8.50 crores for the Nizam area and 5.50 crores for Ceded. The entire Andhra rights are valued at 17 crores while the rest of India business is done at 4 crores. The overseas business of the film is around 3 crores.## TNR will need to score approximately 38 crores share collection or over 60 crores gross at the worldwide box office to break even and emerge as a clean hit. There were no further details provided by the filmmaker other than confirming this blockbuster film, and this led to many speculations regarding the timeline of the movie. ## Lokesh Kanagaraj has been focussing on his ambitious cinematic universe (LCU), which started with Karthi's "Kaithi", followed by Kamal Haasan's "Vikram" and next is Thalapathy Vijay's "Leo", scheduled to release on October 19, 2023. Produced by Shine Screens, the movie has Kajal Aggarwal, Sreeleela and Arjun Rampal (Telugu debut) in prominent roles.## "Bhagavanth Kesari" is carrying good buzz among the fans as well as trade. NBK is coming after two back-to-back big hits in the form of "Akhanda" and "Veera Simha Reddy" which are also his only two films to cross the 100 crores gross mark at the worldwide box office. Anil Ravipudi too has proved his mettle with films like "Sarileru Neekevvaru" and "F2 & F3", so the combo of the actor and director is working well in the trade. ## The upcoming movie, which is scheduled to hit theatres on October 19, is among the top movies of NBK in terms of the pre-release theatrical business. Director Boyapati Srinu Confirms His Next Two Films With Superstar Allu Arjun and Suriya

Hyderabad, October 7 - Telugu mass filmmaker, Boyapati Srinu scored a massive hit with Nandamuri Balakrishna in the form of "Akhanda" in 2021. However, the director couldn't repeat the same success with his next movie "Skanda" with Ram Pothineni. The movie is currently playing in theatres and heading towards being an average affair at the box office.## Despite being unable to repeat "Akhanda's" success with "Skanda", Boyapati remains in hot demand as he has confirmed his next three films. During a recent media interaction, the ultra mass director confirmed that he would be teaming up with Telugu superstar Allu Arjun and Tamil star Suriya for his next two films.## It is not yet clear which film he will take first. Allu Arjun is currently shooting for "Pushpa 2", and he will next be reuniting with Trivikram Srinivas and then also has an announced film with Sandeep Reddy Vanga. In 2024, Tamil and Telugu filmmakers have already scheduled their movies for this lucrative festival. ## The biggest release during the Sankranthi 2024 is Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu's much-awaited action drama film "Guntur Kaaram" on January 12. Hyderabad, September 29 - Telugu star Ram Pothineni and director Boyapati Sreenu's maiden collaboration Skanda has had a very good start at the domestic as well as the worldwide box office. The movie eventually scored the biggest opening for the actor, beating the previous record-holder "iSmart Shankar". ## The action drama film scored 14.50 crores gross on domestic opening day, including 13.50 crores gross in two Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana). The AP-TG share collection of the movie is 8.62 crores, which is the highest for Ram Pothineni. "iSmart Shankar" had approximately 7.70 crores AP-TG share collection.## The AP-TG opening of "Skanda" is the 4th biggest among tier-2 Telugu actors, after "Dasara", "Kushi", and "Liger". Overseas, "Skanda" grossed approximately 2 crores for 16.50 crores worldwide on opening day. "iSmart Shankar" was the previous biggest worldwide opener for the actor with approximately 13 crores gross collection.## The movie has decent audience word of mouth while critics' reviews are mixed. The weekend will be crucial for the movie as it needs to gross around 75 crores worldwide to break even and emerge as a box office hit. The film is currently in production and is touted to be one of the most expensive Telugu movies ever. ## "Devara", a Pan India movie, is scheduled to release in theatres worldwide in April 2024. Meanwhile, the makers have already locked the post-theatrical streaming rights as well as the audio rights. According to the reports, the digital rights of the movie have been grabbed by Netflix in all languages.## Netflix has reportedly paid a whopping 90 crore to acquire the streaming rights in all languages. The actor-director duo is collaborating for the first time and this mass combo is generating a very good buzz among the audiences.## The worldwide pre-release theatrical business of "Skanda" has been locked at approximately 46 crores which is all-time record for Ram Pothineni, according to T2BLive. Los Angeles, September 20 - The uncertainty over the release date of Prabhas-fronted hugely anticipated action drama film "Salaar Part 1 - Ceasefire" continues to loom large after being postponed from September 28.## Even though the release date of the movie is not confirmed yet, the buzz in the trade hasn't died down at all, be it domestically or overseas. Trade is super confident about the blockbuster combo of the superstar Prabhas and director Prashanth Neel ("KGF" franchise) to bring the audiences to theatres in large numbers.## As reported earlier, the pre-release theatrical business and non-theatrical rights of "Salaar" are being locked, and in this process, the makers have reportedly locked the theatrical business of the movie in North America.## According to reliable reports, "Salaar" rights have been sold at 36 crores in North America, which is an all-time second-highest for a Telugu movie, after SS Rajamouli's "RRR" (40 crores). The buzz for the movie is high despite the delay, and now, according to the latest reports, the makers have taken full use of the high buzz and have sold the non-theatrical rights of "Salaar" for a whopping sum.## According to Bollywood Hungama, "Salaar's" satellite rights have been bagged by Star TV for all 5 languages in which the movie will be released, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
