Hyderabad, August 18 - Telugu superstar Ram Charan has been shooting for director S Shankar's political thriller movie "Game Changer" since last year. It is one of the most hotly-awaited Pan India movies, which has Kiara Advani as the female lead and is produced by Dil Raju.## After "Game Changer", the "RRR" star has already confirmed his next which is with "Uppena" director Buchi Babu Sana. Tentatively titled "RC16", the movie is touted to be a rural sports drama that will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers. ## Now, according to Aakashavaani, the shoot of RC16 will commence in January 2024. It was supposed to go on floors in September this year but a delay in the pre-production has pushed it to next year. It is said that Vijay Sethupathi is doing a very crucial role in the movie. Movie" which grossed $1.35 billion earlier this year.## Meanwhile, the mega-blockbuster box office success of "Barbie" set to earn Margot Robbie, who also produced, her biggest payday yet. According to Variety, the star and producer behind the summer's biggest hit stands to make roughly $50 million in salary and box office bonuses. "Barbie" director and co-writer Greta Gerwig will also likely receive bonuses because of the film's outsized success.## "Barbie" has become the second highest-grossing film in Warner Bros. Hyderabad, August 14 - The Indian box office created history during the weekend of August 11-13 with all the movies running in theaters currently grossing close to 400 crores. However, in-between raining blockbusters, Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi's "Bholaa Shankar" disappointed big time and registered a low opening weekend at the domestic as well as global box office.## Directed by Meher Ramesh, "Bholaa Shankar" was expected to continue the winning run for Chiranjeevi after the big blockbuster success of "Waltair Veerayya" earlier this year. But it was not the case as "Bholaa Shankar" recorded one of the lowest weekend collections for the superstar in recent times.## "Bhola Shankar" grossed approx. 36 crores worldwide, including just 5 crores at the overseas box office over the 3-day weekend. Domestically, the movie grossed 31 crores approx., including approx. 21.75 crores share collection in Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana).## The AK Entertainments and Creative Commercials' production venture needs to gross at least 125 crores worldwide to reach the break-even target, for which, the movie needs a miracle which is not looking to happen. Hyderabad, August 13 - Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi's latest release "Bholaa Shankar" fails to woo the audiences as it crashed badly on its second day after a decent opening. Directed by Meher Ramesh, the movie will find it difficult to bounce back from hereon and is likely to end up as a big failure.## Meanwhile, Megastar Chiranjeevi has already finalized his next film. The veteran actor has teamed with director Mallidi Vasistha whose last directorial "Bimbisara" was a huge blockbuster. The upcoming project will be Chiranjeevi's 157th film. ## "Mega 157" will be produced by UV Creations and it is touted to be a social fantasy film. Hyderabad, August 10 - One of the biggest Telugu hits of 2012, "Businessman" starring Mahesh Babu was re-released in cinemas on August 9, 2023, and shattered all the records at the box office. The movie is directed by blockbuster director Puri Jagannadh and it also stars Kajal Aggarwal and Prakash Raj in prominent roles.## "Businessman" has had a decent re-release which is on par with a low-budget Telugu movie as far as showcasing is concerned. However, the opening of the movie is of the level of some mid-range Telugu movies with a gross collection of approx. 5.25 crores worldwide.## In Telugu states, the movie grossed a huge approx. 4.40 crores which is an all-time record for a re-released film. It has beaten Pawan Kalyan's "Kush" which grossed approx. 3.60 crores in AP/TG earlier this year. Jr. NTR's "Simadari" is in third place with approx. 2.90 crores opening day gross.## In the Nizam area, "Businessman" scored a solid approx. 2.50 crores gross, beating Pawan Kalyan's "Kushi" which minted approx. 1.65 crores gross earlier this year. In Ceeded, the Mahesh Babu-starrer scored approx. 35 lakh, while other regions contributed approx. 1.55 crores gross.## Outside Telugu states, "Businessman" grossed approx. 55 lakh from the rest of the domestic market while its overseas collection is approx. 35 lakh. Worldwide, the opening of the "Businessman" re-release is the second biggest after Pawan Kalyan's "Kushi" which grossed approx. 7.50 crores.## "Businessman" had broken records in the advance booking itself as it recorded approx. 2.40 crores pre-sales. It is an official remake of the 2015 Tamil film "Vedalam", and also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Keerthy Suresh, and Sushanth in prominent roles.## Directed by Meher Ramesh, "Bhola Shankar" is one of the least hyped movies of megastar Chiranjeevi which led to below-expected response in advance sales. Scheduled to release on August 11, the movie, however, is still to open with a good collection due to Chiranjeevi's star power and well-received promos.## Chiranjeevi's last film "Waltair Veerayya" emerged as a super hit at the box office, despite that, the pre-release theatrical business of "Bhola Shankar" is the lowest (yet good) for the actor in recent times. The movie has been valued at approx. 80 crores worldwide which will be its break-even target to emerge as a clean hit, according to T2BLive.## In two Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana), the movie has been valued at approx. 67.50 crores, including 22 crores in the Nizam area. The rest of the Indian theatrical business has been fixed at 5 crores while overseas business is approx. 7 crores. The movie is directed by Naveen Medaram and produced by Abhishek Nama under the banner of Abhishek Pictures. ## "Devil" was announced in July 2021 with the first look poster and since then, it has been in production. Now, after more than two years, the makers have confirmed its release date to surprise the fans.
