Title For Jr. NTR's 'NTR 30' With Director Koratala Siva Revealed

Mumbai, May 16 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR has been shooting non-stop for the much-awaited Pan India tentpole "NTR 30" under the direction of Koratala Siva. The movie has been in the news ever since it was announced and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to make it a proper blue blockbuster.## While the shoot of the movie is going on at a brisk pace, the makers are planning to release the title teaser on Jr. NTR's birthday on May 20. It is said that the title of the action drama film has been confirmed as "Devara", which means "God" in Telugu. ## Jr. NTR is reportedly playing a double role, one as father and one as son in the movie that is said to be about the life of an estranged fishing community and how they are saved from dacoits and mafia by a powerful man from the community. So the title "Devara" perfectly fits in the storyline.## The movie is produced by NTR Arts, Yuvasudha Arts, and MSK Films and also stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead alongside Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist. Tokyo, May 14 - The epic Indian blockbuster RRR, directed by maverick SS Rajamouli, is unstoppable at the Japanese box office, proving to be a monstrous hit in the country. ## Released in October last year, "RRR" initially feared a short life in Japan after lower than expected opening. However, as word of mouth spread, it became a force to reckon with, and as things stand today, it has crossed the historic ¥2 billion/$14.75 million or 121+ crores.## The period action drama is going nuts at the Japanese box office since last year and currently playing in a handful of cinemas. We had a positive talk all across the globe. But our main bread and butter are from Telugu-speaking states, (and there) it had a very bad reception. People were saying it is one of the biggest disasters of the film industry".## He further revealed that since the movie was a huge budgeted one, he feared worst if it had become a disaster as that would have put the producer in a huge financial crisis. The movie was released in October of last year in Japan, and even after 6 months, it is playing in a handful of cinemas. ## A great example of "RRR's" longevity at the Japan box office is that it scored the biggest Monday collection on May 1, which was the 193rd day since its release. No one had thought "RRR" to come this long way, and now, Japan has become the highest-grossing overseas market for film. ## The movie has so far grossed about $14.30 million in 197 days in Japan. It might already have or be about to cross "RRR's" $14.30 million collection in the USA. Blockbuster 'Virupaksha' Becomes The Highest-Grossing Film For Sai Dharam Tej

Hyderabad, April 30 - Telugu mystic action thriller Virupaksha, starring Sai Dharam Tej and Samyuktha Menon, is continuing its strong performance at the domestic box office and is proving to be the first choice of Telugu moviegoers in the second week as well. ## Directed by Karthik Varma Dandu, "Virupaksha" was the number one Telugu movie on Saturday with a gross collection of 3.80 crores, outdoing the new release "Agent" which grossed just 1.80 crores on its second day. ## Meanwhile, the total worldwide collection of "Virupaksha" has around 64 crores, including around 35 crores share collection in 9 days, becoming the highest-grossing film ever for Sai Dharam Tej. The previous biggest grosser of the actor was "Prati Roju Pandage" (2019) which grossed around 61 crores worldwide. ## The domestic total collection of the latest flick is around 54 crores, including 28 crores share collection in the two Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
