Blockbuster Telugu Movie 'Virupaksha' Confirms Release In Other Languages

Mumbai, April 28 - Telugu mystic action thriller film Virupaksha has turned out to be a huge success at the box office. The Sai Dharam Tej and Samyuktha Menon-fronted movie has crossed the 50 crores gross mark worldwide within the opening week and is looking unstoppable despite the new releases. ## Directed by Karthik Varma Dandu, "Virupaksha" is now gearing up for its wide Pan India release in multiple languages. The producer announced today that the movie will next release in Hindi by Goldmines Telefilms, in Tamil by Studio Green, and in Malayalam by E4 Entertainment.## The movie will be hitting theaters on May 5 in the aforementioned languages. Interestingly, "Virupaksha" was originally announced for simultaneous Pan India release in multiple languages. However, it was a wise move by the makers to first release the movie in the original Telugu language as there was hardly any buzz in other versions. ## Now, with an excellent response to the Telugu version, the movie is in a better position to have a Pan India release because most of the paying audience is aware of it. Akhil Akkineni's 'Agent' Scores High Pre-Release Worldwide Theatrical Business

Hyderabad, April 26 - Telugu actor Akhil Akkineni's long-awaited spy action thriller Agent is getting ready to hit the big screen this Friday, April 28. The Pan India movie is directed by Surender Reddy who last directed a movie was Chiranjeevi's "Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy" in 2019. ## A few months back, "Agent" was one of the most-anticipated Telugu movies of the tier 2 heroes, but, the continued delay in the production hit the hype. However, the trailer and the unique promotional activities have brought the movie into the scene again and it is currently carrying a decent buzz among the moviegoers. ## Meanwhile, the makers have locked the worldwide theatrical business, and irrespective of the buzz around the movie, it has managed to close a high business for a non-superstar movie. According to T2BLive.com, the pre-release theatrical business of "Agent" is approx. 36.20 crores, which is the second highest ever for Akhil's movie. ## The makers have sold Telugu theatrical rights for around 29 crores while the rest of India's theatrical business is around 4 crores. Samantha plays the titular role while Dev Mohan features as Dushyanta in the film which was billed as a Disneyfied adventure like never before. ## Made on a budget of around 70 crores, Shaakuntalam was one of the most anticipated films at the time it was announced and was also carrying huge expectations as far as the box office is concerned. Hyderabad, April 11 - Telugu producer Dil Raju is reportedly planning a big-budget mythology trilogy with some of the biggest stars of Indian cinema and he has confirmed one with Prabhas in the lead under the direction of Prashanth Neel. ## It was recently reported that Prabhas and Prashanth Neel would be reuniting for a mythological epic, titled Ravanam. Confirming the same, Dil Raju revealed in an interview with Pinkvilla that Neel has already locked the script with Prabhas headlining it. ## "Prashanth Neel has finalized a script and we are planning it with Prabhas. The two are already working together on Salaar. After Salaar, Prashanth has a commitment with NTR, so maybe post the NTR film, Prashanth will commence work on this project.
