Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'NBK107' Release Date Revealed?

Hyderabad, October 8 - Veteran Telugu star Nandamuri Balakrishna scored a super hit with the action thriller film Akhanda in December last year. The movie marked NBK's third film with director Boyapati Srinu and it went on to become the highest-grossing film in Balakrishna's career, grossing over 100 crores at the worldwide box office. ## Nandamuri Balakrishna is now gearing up for his next mass entertainer with director Gopichand Malineni. Tentatively titled NBK107, the movie carrying a lot of buzz since its announcement and it is anticipated to extend Ballaya's box office success run. ## "NBK107" was originally planned for Dussehra 2022 release, however, due to the multiple postponements in the shooting and some changes in the script, the movie couldn't meet the deadline. Later, there were rumors that it will hit theaters during Sankranthi 2023, but it seems the makers have a different release date in mind. ## According to the Telugu media reports, Mythri Movie Makers, the producer of the film, has informed the distributors that "NBK107" will release on December 23 this year. For Sankranthi 2023, the makers have already confirmed Megastar Chiranjeevi's "Mega154" and the Christmas release for NBK's film is almost certain. ## NBK107 stars Shruti Haasan as the female lead while Duniya Vijay, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Honey Rose, and Lal play supporting roles. Hyderabad, October 7 - Megastar Chiranjeevi's political action thriller film Godfather is doing really well after coming from the Holiday release and heading towards a very good first weekend at the domestic box office. ## The Mohan Raja-directed movie that marks Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's Telugu debut scores an estimated 9.50-10.50 crores gross, including approx. 80 lakh in Hindi on its third day/first Friday, dropping just around 30% from yesterday. The total domestic gross collection reaches approx. 48 crores in three days. ## In the Telugu states, "Godfather" scores an estimated 5-6 crores Share collection on Friday, which takes the total AP/TG share collection to over 26 crores. The advance booking for tomorrow is good and the opening weekend share collection of the movie is eyeing 40+ crores. ## "Godfather" hasn't had a big release due to the clash with Nagarjuna Akkineni's "The Ghost" which is affecting its business. Hyderabad, October 6 - Megastar Chiranjeevi's political action thriller Godfather has had a fantastic hold at the box office on its second day/first Thursday after a good first day. ## The Mohan Raja-directed film has found appreciation unlike Chiranjeevi's last film "Acharya" which crashed badly on the second day. "Godfather" witnesses an expected drop of just 35% from the first day for an estimated 15-16 crores gross on the second day. ## The movie, which marks Salman Khan's debut in Telugu, grossed approx. 13 crores share in Telugu on the first day, and with a drop of around 35%, it minted an estimated 7-8 share collection. The share collection in the Telugu state has reached about 20 crores in two days. ## The first two days of "Godfather" has given the impression that the movie might have a huge weekend, especially Saturday and Sunday are expected to go bonkers for the movie. Hyderabad, October 5 - Megastar Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan's Godfather has taken a very good opening at the box office despite the direct competition with Nagarjuna Akkineni's The Ghost. ## Directed by Mohan Raja, the political action thriller film scored an estimated 20-35 crores gross in both Telugu and Hindi languages. Chiranjeevi's last film Acharya had opened to approx. 43 crores gross but it had no competition.## "Godfather" grossed approx. 10.50 crores worth share collection in the Telugu states on the first day. It has been valued at approx. 90 crores worldwide and will need to hold well for at least two weeks to achieve the break even. Unlike "Acharya", the reviews and audience word of the mouth are positive for "Godfather" and this should help it achieve its target. ## Meanwhile, the Hindi version of the film has underperformed, which was very much expected. As per the early estimates, "Godfather" has minted approx. 80 lakh net in Hindi. The lack of promotion in Hindi and the film being a remake have probably played a part in less footfall for the Hindi version. ## On the other hand, Nagarjuna Akkineni's "The Ghost" takes a decent start considering the clash with "Godfather". Hyderabad, October 4 - Director Mohan Raja is coming with another remake film Godfather with Megastar Chiranjeevi. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters worldwide on October 5th in Telugu and Hindi. Mohan Raja is known as the remake king as 7 of his 9 previous directorial films were remade, and except for one film, all have been big hits at the box office. ## "Godfather" is Mohan Raja's only second Telugu film, despite the fact that he made his debut with the Telugu movie, titled "Hanuman Junction" in 2001. It was his Tamil movie "Thani Oruvan" (the first film with an original story) that was later remade in Telugu with Ram Charan under the title of "Dhruva".## "Dhruva" was released in 2016, and now, Mohan Raja is in talks with Ram Charan for its sequel. The sequel of the movie has been in discussion for a long time now, and now, producer NV Prasad, who produced "Dhruva", confirmed that early development for the sequel. Hyderabad, October 3 - Megastar Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan's political action drama film Godfather is getting ready for its worldwide release on October 5 on the occasion of Dussehra. Directed by Mohan Raja, "Godfather" is the official remake of the 2019 Malayalam film "Lucifer". ## Chiranjeevi's last film "Acharya" was bombed at the box office and caused heavy losses to the distributors. This time, the investors haven't gone too far in grabbing the theatrical rights of "Godfather", and as a result, it is the lowest valued Chiranjeevi film in recent years. ## According to the latest Telugu trade reports, "Godfather" pre-release worldwide theatrical business has been valued at Rs. 91 crores. "Acharya" was valued at Rs. 131 crores while "Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy" fetched Rs. 187 crores before release. ## Meanwhile, the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana area business of "Godfather" has been valued at Rs. 70.50 crores while Karnataka state and overseas rights have been valued at approx. Rs. 6.50 crores and Rs. 7.50 crores, respectively. The movie will also be released in Hindi and the business for the same along with the rest of India has been valued at 6.50 crores. RC15: Ram Charan's Political Thriller Pan India Film With Director Shankar Pushed To 2024

Hyderabad, October 3 - Telugu superstar Ram Charan's political action thriller film with director S. Shankar is set to be postponed from its 2023 release. The movie marks their first collaboration and it also stars Kiara Advani as the female lead. ## Tentatively titled RC15, the movie was being shot at a brisk pace, however, the shoot suddenly slowed down after Shankar resumed the shoot of Kamal Haasan's long-delayed Indian 2. It has been reported that Shankar wants to finish "Indian 2" as soon as possible on a priority basis and this has delayed the shooting of Ram Charan's film. ## According to Mirchi 9, Shankar will shoot only two short schedules of "RC15" this year and the remaining portion will be shoot next year. The report says that the movie is unlikely to release next year, and will now hit theaters in 2024, most likely on the Sankranthi occasion. ## With the shoot of "RC15" set to be delayed, it is a possibility that Ram Charan may take another film with a different director. Going by the recent reports, Ram Charan is in talks with multiple directors and likely to announce a new film soon.
