Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna's 'Pushpa - The Rise' To Release In Russia In Local Language

Hyderabad, September 18 - Superstar Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna's action drama film Pushpa - The Rise will soon be released in Russia in the local Russian languages. ## "Pushpa - The Rise" was the highest-grossing Indian film of 2021 and grossed over 360 crores worldwide. It became a huge hit in the dubbed Hindi version and the makers are giving an extra touch to its sequel to make it a true Pan-Indian film. ## Meanwhile, director Sukumar said that the first part of the movie has been dubbed and will soon be released in Russia. The film was released internationally along with the domestic release in December last year and it will now be released in Russia in the local language. ## The film, produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Muttamsetty Media, depicts the rise of a coolie in the smuggling syndicate of red sandalwood, a rare wood that grows only in the Seshachalam Hills of Andhra Pradesh state. ## "Pushpa" won 7 awards in SIIMA 2022, including the Best Actor for Allu Arjun. After "Sita Ramam", "Bimbisara", and "Karthikeya 2" in the last month, the industry has another hit in the form of Sharwanand's Oke Oka Jeevitham. ## Directed by Shree Karthick, "Oke Oka Jeevitham" has proved to be a word-of-mouth hit, which is a rarity these days. The film was released with a low buzz but the audience's super positive word of mouth proved to be a boon for the movie as footfalls increased rapidly over the opening weekend.## The movie remained solid through the weekdays and now, in just 9 days, it has cleared the break-even target worldwide. The movie was valued at approx. 8 crores worldwide which has been achieved. It is Tollywood's 13th hit this year, which is the most for any Indian film industry in 2022. ## "Oke Oka Jeevitham" is a science fiction drama film, produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. Hyderabad, September 17 - Telugu actor Varun Tej teased his new film announcement today (Sept. 17). The actor took to Twitter and shared a video, in which he can be seen reading through a script. He closes the script book, with a sigh of satisfaction and then keeps a toy aircraft on it, indicating the movie will be based on Indian Air Force. ## Tentatively titled VT13, the film will officially be announced on September 19. Meanwhile, according to the latest reports, VT13 will be based on Balakot Air Strike, carried out by the Indian Air Force in 2019 in Balakot, Pakistan against a terrorist training camp.## The reports say the movie will be a Pan India outing and will be helmed by a new director. VT 13 is believed to be the career-changing film for Varun Tej, whose career has been up and down. SS Rajamouli Stresses On The Importance of Making Films On 'Ramayana' And 'Mahabharata'

Toronto, September 17 - India's maverick filmmaker SS Rajamouli has stressed the importance of making films by taking the essence of Hindu epics Ramayan, and Mahabharat to make the film industry strong. ## The RRR director, during the press interaction at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival, said that there is a lot of emotional drama and action in the aforementioned epics and the movies on them can go beyond boundaries. ## Speaking highly about the Telugu film industry, Rajamouli said that Tollywood out of all other film industries has made more films by taking the essence of "Ramayana" and "Mahabharata". ## He further said that if the Telugu industry continues to make more films on these epics, then it needn't be restricted to only Telugu people and can go beyond the state and the country. ## Giving the example of his path-breaking film series Baahubali, Rajamouli said that it was the film that broke all barriers, and then slowly people started realizing that the Indian film industry is not all about Bollywood, but there are other industries, particularly the Tollywood. ## Lately, Bollywood too seems to have realized the importance of making films on "Ramayana" and "Mahabharta" which provide wholesome larger-than-life experiences. Currently in theaters, "Brahmastra" is based on Ancient Indian Astras, and the audience is loving it. Prabhas' 'Project K' Is A Futuristic Sci-Fi Actioner With A 'Mahabharta' Connection

Hyderabad, September 15 - Superstar Prabhas is currently working on two of the most expensive and anticipated Indian films - Adipurush and Project K. ## The "Adipurush" shoot is done and the movie is ready for release on January 12, 2023. However, director Nag Ashwin's "Project K", co-starring Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, is only half done and the remaining shoot will be completed by the first quarter of 2023. ## "Project K" is touted to be the biggest Indian action spectacle which is set in the future and revolves around the timeline of World War 3. It is a futuristic action drama on the line of the time travel concept. ## If reports are to be believed, the movie has a strong connection with the Hindu epic "Mahabharata", where Amitabh Bachchan's character is inspired by Ashwathama. In Mahabharata, Ashwathama became a Chiranjivi (immortal) due to a curse given to him by Lord Krishna.## "Project K" will reportedly have as many as 5 prolonged action blocks and in a one-of-its-kind strategy, the producers have hired multiple action directors to design the epic battle to unfold on the screen. Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen doing proper action sequences alongside Prabhas in the film. The movie is being shot like a Hollywood film with a blue and green screen set up, according to Pinkvilla. ## That's not all, every schedule of the film is followed by a break since the director Nag Ashwin, and his team is working on the editing of the sequences shot in every leg of the shoot, to make sure they create something magical that will be remembered for a long long time. ## The movie is being produced by C. Aswani Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies and it also stars Disha Patani in a key role. Producer Dutt recently revealed that they are planning to release the movie in either October 2023 or January 2024. Hyderabad, September 15 - After the debacle box office performance of Acharya, Megastar Chiranjeevi is gearing up for the release of his next, titled Godfather. The remake of the Malayalam movie "Lucifer", the upcoming film also stars Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and Nayanthara in key roles. ## According to the latest reports, "Godfather" will be released by the producers themselves as Chiranjeevi has reportedly prevented them to sell the distribution rights of the movie for both domestic and overseas markets. ## "Godfather" is produced by RB Choudary and NV Prasad while the presenter is Konidela Productions banner. According to greatandhra.com, Chiranjeevi has advised the producers not to sell the film at higher prices but only release it against advances. NV Prasad is believed to be very close to Chiranjeevi and he has his own distribution network. ## Megastar Chiranjeevi's last two films - "Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy" and "Acharya" didn't work out at the box office. Nani's Most Expensive Film 'Dasara' Theatrical Rights Sold For Record Price

Hyderabad, September 13 - Natural star Nani is shooting for his period action drama film Dasara, which is touted to be the most expensive film of his career. ## Directed by Srikanth Odela, "Dasara" is set against the backdrop of Telangana and Nani took the film as a challenge as he is playing an out-and-out rugged character. He is also mouthing dialogues in a Telangana accent for the first time.## "Dasara" is undoubtedly one of the most-anticipated Telugu films and it is already fetched huge offers from exhibitors for its theatrical and non-theatrical rights. Recently, it was reported that the makers of the film have sold the non-theatrical rights of the movie for 45 crores, which is the highest ever for Nani's film.## According to the latest reports, the makers have also sold the theatrical rights for a record price. The movie, directed by Sobhan, will most likely to re-release on Prabhas birthday on October 23 or a day before. ## Produced by M.S. Raju under the banner of Sumanth Art Productions banner, Varsham was the third highest-grossing Telugu film of 2004. It also starred Trisha Krishnan, and Gopichand along with Prakash Raj and Chandra Mohan, among others. The music was composed by Devi Sri Prasad. ## Varsham was remade in multiple other languages, including Hindi as "Baaghi", starring Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor. The Hindi version also became a huge hit and paved the way for two more films in the franchise. "Baaghi 4" will also be made in near future. ## Meanwhile, "Varsham" is not the only film of Prabhas that will be re-release on his birthday. Hyderabad, September 10 - Vijay Deverakonda, whose much-hyped sports action drama film Liger bombed at the box office, has resumed the shoot of Shiva Nirvana's romantic comedy Kushi, co-starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu. He was also doing JGM with director Puri Jagnnadh, but that movie has reportedly been put on hold. ## Meanwhile, according to the latest reports, Vijay Deverakonda is in talks with producer Dil Raju for a fantasy film. It is said that the producer had planned a fantasy film with VD in the direction of Indraganti Mohan Krishna a couple of years ago. ## Mohan Krishna's last film was Nani-starrer "V", which was released directly on the OTT platform. Dil Raju was reportedly so optimistic that Indraganti would deliver a massive hit with Nani's film, however, the movie did receive poor reviews and was a digital flop. ## Dil Raju is now looking to revive the film with some other directors and he is reportedly in consultations with VD to work on further plans. Harish Shankar is one of the names that is being discussed to direct the film. ## Vijay Deverakonda, meanwhile, will also do a film with Sukumar who will soon start the shooting of the second part of Allu Arjun's "Pushpa - The Rule". Once he is done with Pushpa 2, the director will start work on Deverakonda's film. ##
