Box Office: Allu Arjun's Maiden Pan-India Film 'Pushpa - The Rise' Strikes Gold In Hindi
Mumbai, December 18 - Allu Arjun's maiden Pan-India film, "Pushpa - The Rise" found a large appreciation among the Hindi audience. Against all odds, the Sukumar-directed opened to a very nice Rs. 3 crores net in Hindi on the first day (Friday). ## The opening day's Hindi collection speaks about the fan-following of Allu Arjun among the Hindi audience. The box office numbers become even larger knowing the fact that it had a limited release in North, plus, it was up against a monster like "Spider-Man: No Way Home", which grabbed most of the multiplex screens. That's not all, the makers hardly promote the film in Hindi. ## "Pushpa - The Rise" takes a bigger start than most of the Bollywood films, released during the covid-19 pandemic. More importantly, the action thriller has become the second biggest Pan-India launch of a South Indian actor in the Hindi dubbed version. Prabhas' maiden Pan-India film, "Baahubali - The Beginning", netted Rs. 5.15 crores on the first day while Kannada superstar Yash's "KGF" took the opening of Rs. 2.10 crores. ## Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, and Muttamsetty Media, "Pushpa - The Rise" overall takes the biggest opening in India during the pandemic, grossing over Rs. 50 crores in all languages.
