Mumbai, December 18 - Allu Arjun's maiden Pan-India film, "Pushpa - The Rise" found a large appreciation among the Hindi audience. Against all odds, the Sukumar-directed opened to a very nice Rs. 3 crores net in Hindi on the first day (Friday). ## The opening day's Hindi collection speaks about the fan-following of Allu Arjun among the Hindi audience. The box office numbers become even larger knowing the fact that it had a limited release in North, plus, it was up against a monster like "Spider-Man: No Way Home", which grabbed most of the multiplex screens. That's not all, the makers hardly promote the film in Hindi. ## "Pushpa - The Rise" takes a bigger start than most of the Bollywood films, released during the covid-19 pandemic. More importantly, the action thriller has become the second biggest Pan-India launch of a South Indian actor in the Hindi dubbed version. Hyderabad, December 17 - Telugu superstar Allu Arjun's first Pan-India release, "Pushpa - The Rise" is all set to become the biggest box office grosser during the covid-19 pandemic in India. Released over 3000 screens, "Pushpa" netted an estimated Rs. 55 crore gross on the first day (Friday) for all languages. ## Directed by Sukumar, "Pushpa - The Rise" crossed Pawan Kalyan's Telugu hit "Vakeel Saab's" Rs. 46.50 crores. It also becomes the first Indian film to gross over Rs. 50 crores during the health crisis on the first day. Though the large share of 1st day's collection came through the Telugu version, the Hindi and Tamil versions contributed an estimated Rs. 5-7 crore gross. The Kannada and Malayalam versions couldn't release due to some issues. ## "Pushpa - The Rise", for the Hindi version, grossed an estimated Rs. 2.40 crores despite the limited release due to the "Spider-Man: No Way Home" and other Hindi releases. Mumbai, December 15 - Telugu superstar Allu Arjun is busy giving interviews and in promotional activities for his upcoming action thriller film, "Pushpa - The Rise". The makers had held a grand pre-release event of the film on December 12 in Hyderabad, in which noted Telugu filmmakers and actors had participated. ## Directed by Sukumar, "Pushpa" is one of the most anticipated films and it will be Allu Arjun's first film to release in multiple languages. Hyderabad, December 13 - Filmmaker SS Rajamouli, who broke the barriers of languages with Prabhas-fronted "Baahubali" films, has set his eyes on bigger things now. While his upcoming directorial "RRR" gearing up for Jan. 7, 2022, release in multiple languages, the ace filmmaker wants Allu Arjun to follow the same path in promoting his upcoming film "Pushpa - The Rise". ## The pre-release event of "Pushpa" was held on December 12 in Hyderabad, which noted Telugu filmmakers, actors participated. SS Rajamouli, who was one of the main guests at the event, had also spoken on the stage. Hyderabad, December 13 - Telugu movie "Akhanda" has emerged as the biggest blockbuster of actor Nandamuri Balakrishna. After putting on a thundering show at the box office, the action thriller has crossed Rs. 100 crores worldwide gross and has become NBK's first film to achieve the feet. ## Directed by Boyapati Srinu, "Akhanda" already became the highest opening week grosser for NBK, earning Rs. 67.55 crores net in the extended 8-day week. The strong word of mouth helped it to maintain the pace throughout the second weekend for Rs. 9.15 crores. With total worldwide gross collection stands at Rs. 101.50 crores, including the staggering India gross of 89 crores, the movie has turned out to be a hugely profitable venture for the distributors, with an AP/TG share of 52.07 crores. ## The film is a huge blockbuster for its investors in Nizam and other areas. In Nizam alone, it fetched Rs. 17.42 crores gross over 11 days, followed by Ceded with Rs. 13.27 crores. While many actors and filmmakers have put their views forward over the ticket price issue, Pawan Kalyan has been quite verbal about the same and have criticized the government on many occasion and it seems, he is not backing out. ## The superstar addressed a relly in Mangalgiri after one day Deeksha against the privatization of Vizag Steel Plant. During the rally, Pawan Kalyan alleged that the government is targeting his movies and has reduced ticket prices. He said that he will not succumb to the government's tactics and if necessary, he will show his movies for free to the public. ## "Targeting my films, the government has reduced ticket prices in the state. I will not fear or step back even if the government stops screening my films. If the situation escalates to that stage, I will not hesitate to show films to the public for free", he said.## "The government argues that there is no transparency in ticket rates and collections.
