Samantha Ruth Prabhu Begins Shooting For Her Next, Titled 'Yashoda'

Hyderabad, December 6 - Samantha Ruth Prabhu is in full action after taking a short break from movies and shuttling her personal issues. Samantha recently completed the first item number of her career in Allu Arjun's "Pushpa: The Rise" and now begins filming for her next film, titled "Yashoda".## The movie, which will feature Samantha in the title role of an author, has started its regular shooting today in Gandipet, the outskirts of Hyderabad after the Pooja Ceremony. Said to be a new-age thriller, "Yashoda" will be released in five Indian languages including Hindi. ## Directed by director duo Hari and Harish, "Yashoda" is being produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under the banners of Sridevi Movies. The makers are planning to complete the entire shooting by March 2022 and the release date will be announced after that. Directed by Boyapati Srinu, "Akhanda" has crossed Rs. 50 crores worldwide gross in just 3 days, which is a record for Balakrishna's film. ## The action entertainer stunned that trade experts with an opening of Rs. 24.60 crores India gross on Thursday. It carried the momentum with Rs. 11.50 cr. and Rs. 12.40 crores gross on Friday and Saturday. Hyderabad, December 2 - While the Telugu film industry is still recovering from the devastating effects of the covid-19 pandemic, the firm stand of the state government on the low ticket prices has further become a roadblock in the recovery. The Telugu film artists have been urging the Andhra Pradesh chief minister to allow the hike in the movie ticket prices so that they can generate some revenues. ## Powerstar Pawan Kalyan has continuously spoken against the government for neglecting the Telugu film industry. Natural star Nani too has expressed his opinion on this burning issue and now, veteran director K. Raghavendra Rao has opened up on the issue of ticket rates in Andhra Pradesh.## Expressing his displeasure regarding the Andhra Pradesh government's stand on the issue, the director appealed to the AP Chief Minister, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to reconsider the Bill passed on the reduction of movie ticket prices in cinema halls. ## "With the existing pandemic-related problems, the film industry sees only a 10-20 percent success ratio. Hundreds of families depend on that percentage of success. Distributors, traders, theatre owners, and many others survive on this little success", Rao said.## About online movie ticketing, Rao wrote, "What if influenced people freeze the online tickets and sell in the black market? There are possibilities, right? So, I'm requesting the government to reconsider the decisions taken about online booking system".## Director Rao further suggested that the government should officially increase ticket rates, at least for the first week of any movie release, which would only help them generate more revenue from the taxes. RC15: The Release Date Of Ram Charan's Film With Director Shankar Is Revealed

Hyderabad, November 29 - Telugu superstar Ram Charan is currently in the top position of his career with three big projects. He is one of the leads with Jr. NTR in director SS Rajamouli's "RRR", due a January 7, 2022 release. It is perhaps the biggest film of his career and one of the biggest in Indian cinema. ## Charan then has Koratala Siva's "Acharya", in which he shares screen space with his father, megastar Chiranjeevi. The shoot is completed and the movie is scheduled to release on February 4, 2022. He has produced the film under his home banner Konidela Production Company, alongside Niranjan Reddy for Matinee Entertainments. ## Apart from the two big aforementioned films, the "Yevadu" actor is currently shooting for director Shankar Shanmugam's film, called "RC15". The big-budget extravaganza marks Charan's maiden collaboration with Shankar, who is known for helming films such as "Sivaji", "Robot", and "2.0". "RC15" has Kiara Advani as the female lead. ## Touted as a political action thriller, "RC15" is being produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. Speaking about the film, Charan told variety that the movie will be released in February 2023. ## Ram Charan also shared his excitement about working with Shankar. "Working with him is an experience and like his films, we see on screen. More than an actor I think I'm like having a fanboy moment slash actor in this set. It's amazing to see how he works. Hyderabad, November 26 - Samantha Ruth Prabhu is on board to lead BAFTA-winning Welsh director Philip John's ("Downton Abbey"), "Arrangements of Love". It will be produced by Sunitha Tati's Guru Films, who earlier produced Samantha's Telugu film "Oh! Baby", which was a commercial success. Samir Sarkar, of Singapore's Magic Hour Films, is the executive producer of the new film.## "Arrangements of Love" is an adaptation of the bestselling 2004 novel of the same title by Indian author Timeri N. Murari. It follows a Welsh-Indian man on his quest to find his estranged father with an impromptu visit to his homeland. ## According to Variety, Samantha plays a strong-minded and funny force of nature 27-year-old, who runs her own detective agency and becomes part of the search. She is a progressive bisexual Tamil woman, with ultra-traditional parents, who want her to have an arranged marriage. As much as she wants to please her parents she also wants to be able to make her own life choices.## Speaking about the film, Samantha said, "A whole new world opens up for me today as I start my journey with 'Arrangements of Love', which has such an endearing and personal story. I am excited to work with Philip John, whose projects I have closely followed for many years, being a big fan of "Downton Abbey".## "I am looking forward to collaborating with Sunitha once again and I hope for only more success than we previously had with 'Oh!
