Hyderabad, October 6 - It's going to be Megastar Chiranjeevi's "Acharya" against Allu Arjun's "Pushpa - Part 1" at the box office. The two big-budgeted most-awaited Telugu movies are set to arrive in theaters on December 17. While "Acharya" will release only in Telugu, Allu Arjun's "Pushpa" will have a Pan-India release in five languages. ## "Pushpa - Part 1" was earlier supposed to release on Christmas 2021 but the makers recently confirmed that it will be arriving a week before, on December 17. The makers of "Acharya", however, has yet to announce the release date officially, but it is reportedly locked for December 17 release in theaters worldwide. ## Under the current circumstances, the big box office clashes are bound to happen as there is hardly any release window left to get a solo release. It is not only Acharya vs Pushpa at the box office as Marvel Studios' superhero film "Spider-Man: No Way Home" is also scheduled to release in cinemas in India on December 17 in multiple languages. ## Acharya, directed by Koratala Siva, is an action drama film. It also stars Ram Charan, Kajal Aggarwal, and Pooja Hegde in prominent roles along with Sonu Sood, Jisshu Sengupta, Posani Krishna Murali, Tanikella Bharani, among others. It is produced by Matinee Entertainment and Konidela Production Company while music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.## On the other hand, Pushpa The Rise is written and directed by Sukumar and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Keeping those expectations high, another Telugu movie, "Love Story" is well on track to become a BIG hit, not only in India but also in overseas markets. ## Directed by National award-winning filmmaker, Sekhar Kammula, "Love Story" has already become one of the top grosser after the deadly second wave in India. The film had the best premiere night for an Indian film during the pandemic with $314K (Rs. 2.32 crore) on Thursday premiere. ## By the end of its opening weekend in the USA, the movie has crossed $1 million ($1.02 or 7.54 Cr) which includes $292K on Friday, $287K on Saturday, and $128K on Sunday apart from Thursday premiere. The movie was easily one of the top earners in the concluded weekend at the USA box office. The worldwide total gross collection after the opening weekend of "Love Story" stands at Rs. 37 crores. ## Produced by Amigos Creations and Sree Venkateswara Cinemas, the film hasn't got the great of reviews from the critics but it is clearly winning the heart hearts of the audiences. Hyderabad, September 24: Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya will be making his Bollywood debut with the upcoming Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer "Laal Singh Chaddha". The actor is currently busy promoting his film "Love Story" co-starring Sai Pallavi, which has been released in theaters on September 24. ## Naga, however, said in a recent interview that his focus is always on Telugu, and if he gets an opportunity to work in Hindi, he will do that. He also shared his experience of working with Aamir Khan and said that making his Hindi debut alongside the superstar was a big learning experience for him. ## "I got the opportunity of Laal Singh Chaddha magically, and everything happened organically. It was a great learning experience for me to spend nearly 50 days with Aamir Khan".## Earlier, Aamir Khan had attended the pre-release event of Love Story in Hyderabad, where he praised Chaitanya. Aamir had funnily said that the makers of Love Story had to invite him forcibly as he wasn't invited but wanted to go there to covey something special. ## "I had some experiences with Naga Chaitanya that are so special that I wanted to share with his parents. I took his father’s number and his mother’s number too. But I wanted to tell something to all of his fans as well. So I came here. I felt so happy working with this man, who is not only an actor and a creator but he is such a kind of man who touches the heart of anyone with his nature", Aamir had said in the pre-release event. ## While Naga was also present at the event along with the rest of the cast and crew of the film, he responded to Aamir Khan's kind words during an interview recently.## "He didn't have to be there and he didn't have to say the things that he did. Hyderabad, September 24: After many delays and postponements, Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi starrer "Love Story" has been released in theaters on September 24. One of the most-awaited Telugu movies, Love Story is a romantic drama directed by the National award-winning director Sekhar Kammula. ## Produced by Narayan Das K Narang, and Puskar Ram Mohan Rao under the banners of Amigos Creations, and Sree Venkateswara Cinemas and distributed by Asian Cinemas, "Love Story" was supposed to release in April this year. Hyderabad, September 20, 2021: On the second and final day of the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2021, some of the best South Indian movies and artists of 2020 were honored in a star-studded ceremony in Hyderabad. ## Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde starrer action drama film, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, emerged a big winner at the award nights and bagged almost all the top awards in Telugu. One of the highest-grossing Telugu movies of all time, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, won 10 awards including Best Actor male and female, Best Director, Best Film, among others. ## Soorarai Pottru, which has been hailed as one of the best Indian films ever, was announced as the Best Tamil movie of 2020 while Suriya won the Best Actor for his role in the movie at SIIMA 2021. SIIMA Awards 2021: Here Is The Complete List Of Award Winners

Hyderabad, September 19, 2021: The prestigious, South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA), which honors the best artistic and technical achievements of the south Indian film industry, were held on September 19 in a star-studded ceremony in Hyderabad.## The first day of the awards ceremony was attended by some of the biggest artists of Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam cinema such as Mahesh Babu, Nani, Rashmika Mandanna, Shruti Haasan, Shine Tom Chacko, among others. ## On day 1, the best South Indian actors and movies of 2019 were honored. Among the top gainers, Mahesh Babu won Best Actor for Maharshi (Telugu) while Rashmika Mandanna won two awards for Dear Comrade (Telugu) and Yajamana (Kannada).
