Third Season of 'Panchayat' Emerged As The Most Watched Hindi Show In The First Half of 2024
Mumbai, July 20 - The third season of Amazon Prime Video's rural comedy-drama Panchayat emerged as the most-watched Hindi show in the first half of 2024, beating big-budgeted shows like Heeramandi, and Indian Police Force.## According to Ormax Media, Panchyat Season 3 has generated 28.20 million views, becoming the most-watched Hindi language web series across streaming platforms in the first six months of 2024. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Netflix show, Heeramandi and Rohit Shetty's Prime Video series, Indian Police Force, were the next two most-watched titles with 20.30 million and 19.50 million views, respectively. ## Disney Plus Hotstar, however, ruled the list of the top 10 most-watched Hindi shows in the first half of the year with five titles, which include The Legend of Hanuman (14.8 million), Showtime (12.5 million), Karma Calling (9.1 million), Baahubali: Crown of Blood (8 million), and Lootere (8 million).## Ormax Media estimates viewership using primary research conducted among audiences across India on a weekly basis.
