Director Ayan Mukerji Reveals A Different Title Was Originally Planned For 'Brahmastra'

Mumbai, September 22 - It has been two weeks since director Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra Part One: Shiva was released in theaters. The movie has been received very well by the audience and now, people are waiting for part two of the movie, titled "Dev". ## After watching the first part, fans are sharing their theories about what can happen in the second or third part and who can play the role of Dev and some other character. To discuss all these things, Ayan set down with one of the top comic book theorists of India i.e. Desi Nerd, super super, bnftv, PJ Explained, and Comic verse.## During their discussion about fans' theories, Ayan revealed that when he started writing the script, he had set the "Dragon" title for the movie. She said that the main character of the movie, Shiva (Ranbir Kapoor) has the power of fire and that the Dragon title would suit the movie. ## The filmmaker further revealed that when he started to go deeper into the script, his inspiration started shifting from Harry Potter and Lord of The Rings to more towards Indian history, towards Indian culture. As he progressed through the script, Ayan revealed that Indian history and culture were mostly in him and a title related to our culture will suit more. ## Since Shiva's character is inspired by lord Shiva, Ayan revealed that he understood the beauty and power he stands for and the same happened with the concept of Astras, the concept of Brahmastra. On that day, some of the leading multiplex chains and single-screen theaters will sell movie tickets for just Rs. 75 for all versions and the positive effect of it is already being seen in the advance sales. ## Director Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, which is currently playing in theaters, is witnessing a huge demand for tickets for National Cinema Day. The 3D shows of this fantasy action adventure film in the cities like Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, and Kolkata are filling super fast for NCD. As of now, it has sold over 5 lakh tickets worth approx. Rs. 4.30 crores. "Brahmastra" is expected to witness Housefull shows on September 23, especially in 3D. The advance booking in 2D is also decent and it will pick over the next couple of days. Director R Balki Reveals Why He Cast Shreya Dhanwanthary In 'Chup'

Mumbai, September 19 - Shreya Dhanwanthary, who has worked in the acclaimed web series "The Family Man" and "Scam 1992", is all set to headline director R. Balki's psychological thriller Chup: Revenge of the Artist with Sunny Deol, Dulqueer Salmaan, and Pooja Bhatt in the leading roles. ## Shreya has proved over the last few years how brilliant an actress she is and that was the reason he got cast in "Chup", according to the director Balki. The actress plays the role of Nila, the love interest of Salmaan's character in the movie. ## Speaking about casting Shreya in the film, the renowned filmmaker said, "Shreya is a volcanic talent. I had seen her perform in 'Scam 1992' and 'The Family Man' and was hugely impressed".## "When I met her for the first time, within five minutes of the conversation, I asked her whether she'd like to read a script and that's how I offered her 'Chup'.
