'Adipurush Will Spellbind The Audiences Across The Nation', Says Om Raut
Mumbai, July 24 - Prabhas' long-awaited epic drama Adipurush is silently progressing with its post-production work. It is the film, which is based on the epic Ramayana, that got everyone's attention from the very first day it was announced in 2020. The lack of updates from makers has also not affected its buzz which is keep going up with each passing day. ## "Adipurush" is directed by Om Raut, who last directed the National Award-winning film "Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior" in 2020. The upcoming magnum opus will feature Prabhas in the title role of Lord Ram while Kriti Sanon plays Janaki/Sita and Saif Ali Khan essays the role of Lankesh/Raavan. ## Meanwhile, director Raut is looking super confident about the film's success and said that it will be remembered for a long long time in Indian cinema. In a recent interview, Om Raut said about Adipurush, "The shooting had already been completed. The post-production work is progressing. Adipurush is another epic drama that will spellbind audiences across the nation". ## The filmmaker went on to say that "Adipurush" is very close to his heart and he has been working hard to provide once in a lifetime theatrical experience to the audience. He also said that Prabhas called and congratulate him on the National Award for Tanhaji. ## "Adipurush" has been shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu languages. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series in association with Retrophiles.
