Recently, some reports broke out that Akshay Kumar starrer Laxmmi Bomb and Ajay Devgn's Bhuj - The Pride Of India might also take an OTT route.## Now, with they are coming live together on Hotstar, they could make an official announcement of releasing their movies on Disney Plus Hotstar along with Varun Dhawan's Coolie No. 1, Alia Bhatt's Sadak 2, and Abhishek Bachchan starrer The Big Bull. ## It could be a big dent for the theaters' owners if the stars announce their movies on Hotstar as theaters are heavily banking on these movies to attract the audiences once cinemas re-open post COVID-19. The theater owners might also suffer a heavy loss of revenue if these movies don't release in theaters. ## FYI, Laxmmi Bomb was supposed to release on Eid but postponed due to lockdown while Bhuj: The Pride Of India is scheduled to release on August 14. Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan's Coolie No. 1 was also set to be theatrically released on 1 May 2020 but just like many other films, it couldn't take place at the original date. Alia Bhatt's Sadak 2 shooting was delayed by Coronavirus pandemic hence it also postponed whereas Abhishek Bachchan's The Big Bull is scheduled for October 23 release.## Stay tuned...

Bipasha Basu applauds the HUL decision of removing 'Fair' from Fair & Lovely, says her skin color didn't define her

Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu has applauded Hindustan Unilever (HUL) for dropping the word 'Fair' from its Fair & Lovely beauty product. The actress on Friday took to her Instagram handle and spoke how her skin color has been used to describe her since childhood. ## The 41-year old actress who has worked in many Tamil, Telugu, Bengali and English films, recalled her journey as an actress in the entertainment industry. She said that her skin color was always a topic of discussion despite the fact that she has been a successful film actor. ## Bipasha began her long Instagram post by saying that even as a child, her distant relatives discussed her 'dusky' complexion. She wrote, "From the time I was growing up I heard this always, "Bonnie is darker than Soni. She is little dusky na?“Even though my mother is a dusky beauty and I look a lot like her. I never knew why that would be a discussion by distant relatives when I was a kid."## Even when she won the supermodel contest, some of the newspapers referred her 'dusky girl from Kolkata' which again wondered her that adjective 'Dusky' was used to describe her. "Soon at 15/ 16 I started modelling and then I won the supermodel contest ... all newspapers read ... dusky girl from Kolkata is the winner. I wondered again why Dusky is my first adjective ??? Then I went to New York and Paris to work as a model and I realized my skin color was exotic there and I got more work and attention because of it," she added. ## Bipasha revealed that when she made her Bollywood debut in 2001 with Ajnabee, she was accepted and loved by many but she was still labeled as the 'dusky girl'. "Once I came back into India and film offers started... and finally I did my first film and from an absolute Ajnabee to Hindi film industry ...I suddenly was accepted and loved. But the adjective stayed which I started liking and loving by then.DUSKY girl wows the audiences in her debut film".## She further said, "In most of my articles for all the work I did, my duskiness seemed to be the main discussion.. it attributed to my sex appeal apparently. And sexy in Bollywood started getting accepted widely. There was a strong mindset of Beauty and how an actress should look and behave. Well you see I was confident and proud of who I was from childhood. My skin colour didn’t define me ... even though I love it and wouldn’t want it to be any different ever."## View this post on Instagram From the time I was growing up I heard this always,”Bonnie is darker than Soni. She is little dusky na?“Even though my mother is a dusky beauty and I look a lot like her.I never knew why that would be a discussion by distant relatives when I was a kid. "It is not new", Sushmita Sen gives her opinion on nepotism

Ever since Sushant Singh Rajput has committed suicide, there has been a debate between the insiders viruses outsiders in the industry. Netizens and a few industry people think that Bollywood does not fully accept outsiders hence, star kids get more opportunities. After Sushant's death, nepotism has yet again become the talk of the town and many star kids are under the scanner. ## Because of the continuous trolling of star kids and so many negative comments on social media on nepotism, Sonakshi Sinha has quit Twitter while Sonam Kapoor has disabled comment section on Instagram to keep themselves away from negativity. ## Now, when everyone is giving their opinion on this hot topic, former miss world, Sushmita Sen who has established herself in the industry was asked to give her take on nepotism in a recent interview. ## Speaking to a leading daily, the actress gave her insights. "There has been a discussion about it all over the media and everywhere at this moment. (But) We all have been enduring it, it is not new. Is this something that we have just realized? That competitiveness - or now everybody says this word 'nepotism' - is a truth you have known for as long as the industry has existed. With awareness, social, and digital space, it has increased thousands of folds". ## The actress further believes that blaming one person or pointing fingers is not the right thing to do, "People should not, in any profession, be destructive or envious of other people’s success. You may not always applaud it but to be envious generates this kind of vicious circle where people just (think) ‘he thought bad of me now wait till his release, I will think bad of him".## "It is a vicious circle that continues and nobody ends up gaining, everybody losses. If it needs to change, then all of us need to take responsibility, not one person," Sushmita Sen further added.## On the work front, Sushmita Sen has been getting overwhelming response for her role in Ram Madhvani’s crime drama web series streaming on Hotstar. Fans are delighted to see Sushmita on screen after a long time. She was last seen in a Bengali movie Nirbaak in 2015.## Stay tuned...
