Dabangg director blames Salman Khan and family for destroying his career

Dabangg movie director Abhinav Singh Kashyap recently took to Facebook and revealed that after Dabangg film in 2010, Arbaaz Khan and family sabotaged his career and the sustained gaslighting and bullying destroyed his mental health which has not only affect his professional life but the personal life also. ## The director's post came after Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide on June 14, who said to be in depression for a long time. His death has also revealed the dirty truth of Bollywood that does not care about an outsider and treats such people badly.## Abhinav Singh Kashyap who is the brother of filmmaker Anurag Singh Kashyap wrote in his post that the government must launch a detailed investigation in Sushant's case. He compared the actor's death with the MeToo movement that revealed the dirty image of Bollywood.## In a long Facebook post, Abhinav wrote, "My appeal to the Government to launch a detailed investigation. Rest in peace Sushant Singh Rajput… Om Shanti.. But your fight continues…" ## "The suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput brings to the forefront a much bigger problem of what many of us have been dealing with. Exactly what might compel a person to commit suicide?? I fear his death is just the tip of the iceberg just like the #metoo movement was for a much bigger malaise in Bollywood."## The filmmaker also raised fingers on the talent management agencies who spot actors and introduce them to Bollywood celebrities promising a bright future in the film industry.## "The death of Sushant Singh Rajput brings under scanner the role YRF talent Management Agency might have played in pushing him towards his suicide but that is for the authorities to investigate. These people don’t make careers. They ruin your career and life. Having suffered personally for a decade, I can confidently say every Talent Manager and all Talent Management Agencies of Bollywood are a potential death Trap for Artists."## "They are all basically white collared Dalaals and everyone is involved. They all have an unspoken code of conduct they adhere to. Their one simple mantra is, “Hamaam me sab nange aur jo nange nahin hain, unko nanga karo kyonki agar ek bhi pakda gaya to sab pakde jayenge”. Following is mostly their modus Operandi," Abhinav Singh Kashyap added.## ## While sharing his own experience, Abhinav revealed how Salman Khan and his family destroyed his career after the Dabangg movie in 2010. He revealed that his several projects sabotaged only because of Arbaaz Khan. ## "The reason I moved out of making Dabangg 2 ten years ago is because Arbaaz Khan in collusion with Sohail Khan and family was trying to take control of my career by bullying me. Arbaaz Khan sabotaged my second project with Shree Ashtavinayak Films that I was signed up with by personally calling their head Mr. Raj Mehta and threatening him with dire consequences if they made a film with me. I had to return the signing money to Shree Ashtavinayak films and moved to Viacom Pictures. They did the same thing."## "Only this time the sabotager was Sohail Khan and he intimidated the then Viacom CEO, Vikram Malhotra. My project was sabotaged and I was made to return my signing fee of Rupees 7 Crores plus interest of Ninety odd lacs. Its only then that Reliance Entertainment came to my rescue and we forged an enduring partnership for my film Besharam."## He further revealed that "Over the next few years, all my projects and creative endeavors have been sabotaged and I have been repeatedly threatened with life and rape threats given to/for the female members of my family. The sustained gaslighting and bullying destroyed my mental health and that of my family and led to my divorce and breaking up of my family in 2017. They erred and sent some of these threats as texts, sent to me as sms from several numbers."## "Armed with evidence, I went to the police in 2017 to file an FIR which they refused to register but registered a non-cognizable complaint. When the threats continued, I forced the police to trace the numbers but they couldn't be traced back to Sohail Khan(the suspected sender). My complaint remains open to date and I still have all the evidence," he added.## Stay tuned...

Meera Chopra issues an apology to the late Sushant Singh Rajput on behalf of the film industry

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput died on June 14 after he committed suicide at his Mumbai apartment. The actor said to be going through depression for a long time. The ever-smiling actor's untimely demise shocked the entire film industry. ## While his death has raised the issue of mental health, it has also revealed the dirty truth of the film industry which has no room for the outsiders. Actress Meera Chopra who has worked in several Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu movies too had to say about the same. ## She issued a statement apologizing to the late Sushant Singh Rajput on the behalf of the entire film industry for not being with the actor when he was battling alone with depression for a long time. ## The statement also reveals how cruel this film industry for outsiders. Issuing the statement on Tweeter, the 36-year old actress has also requested the industry members including the directors and producers to help people when they are in need. ## "We are working and living in an industry which is cruel, cold and ruthless. We all knew well that Sushant was going depression for long, but what did we do? Where was his close circle, the directors, producers he's worked with, his close friends? Why nobody came out and helped, gave him the kind of love, the work he wanted - because nobody care".## "I am sorry to say but nobody gives a shit about what you are going through. If your 1 movie flops then they start treating you like untouchable. True, Bollywood is a small family, but a kind of family that is never there when you need them. He had to take his life for that family to realise the kind of pain and need he was in".## "An outsider will always feel like an outsider here. I just wana say to my industry that help people when they need it. There is no point tweeting when they are no more. Don't pretend to be sad when you guys didn't do anything when he was sad. Stop being such a hypocritical society".## "Sushant, your death is a personal loss, the way I see my industry will never be the same anymore. We have failed you, this industry has failed you. You deserved better my friend.
