Mumbai, February 12 - There might be curtains to one of the most anticipated Pan India projects, featuring Bollywood superstar Salman Khan with director Atlee, due to the ever-exceeding budget. ## It is widely known that director Atlee will collaborate with Salman Khan for a two-hero mega movie. The untitled project has been in pre-production for quite some now, but according to the latest report by Peepingmoon, it might get shelved. ## Recently, it was reported that Atlee is trying to make the film with a massive budget of 500 crores but the filmmaker is struggling to secure a producer willing to fund this large-scale action spectacle which also might star superstar Rajinikanth. ## It is said that Atlee has been in talks with Jio Studios but the producers are hesitant to invest such a massive amount in a Salman film at this juncture, considering his recent films have all mostly underperformed at the box office. ## Tamil gaint Sun Pictures has also explicitly stated that they are not interested in funding the project with Salman in the lead. Due to this, Atlee has now resumed talks with superstar Allu Arjun to headline the film. Los Angeles, February 12 - This Valentine's Day weekend is expected to shower love at the box office in the form of Marvel Studios' Captain America: Brave New World, the first superhero movie of the year. ## Directed by Julius Onah, the fourth instalment in the Captain America film series had its world premiere yesterday (local time) and the early reactions are coming in as mixed. However, the film is likely to fly at the box office according to the trade projections. ## The Hollywood trade is projecting Brave New World to open in the range of $80 million-$85 million over a 3-day Valentine's Day and about $90 million - $100 million over a 4-day Presidents Day weekend. It has emerged as the first Bollywood outright success of the year. ## After scoring a record 15.50 crores net in the opening weekend, the romantic drama showed a remarkable hold on Monday to score approximately 3.25 crores net. The film is doing fantastic business and is set to become the biggest re-release grosser in India. ## Despite the setback originally, Sanam Teri Kasam has turned into a cult classic over the years with immense popularity on television. It was a disaster in its original run 9 years ago, in 2016. ## Re-released amidst almost zero promotion at the start of Valentine's Day week on February 7, Sanam Teri Kasam stunned the trade with its opening weekend collection of approximately 15.50 crores net which is easily the biggest weekend for a Bollywood re-release title. ## On Monday, the film was outrightly the number one title at the Bollywood box office with approximately 3-3.25 crores net collection, beating the combined Monday total of Sky Force, Deva, Badass Ravikumar, and Loveyapa.
