Record Overseas Business Deal For Thalapathy Vijay's 'Jana Nayagan'

Chennai, January 28 - The possible last chapter of Thalapathy Vijay's film career, Jana Nayagan has been garnering a lot of interest in the trade, something which has been the familiar case since the second half of his career. ## Despite the uncertainty of the film's release date and mixed reception to the first-look posters, the theatrical business of the movie is showing no sign of fatigue. According to Venky Box Office, Jana Nayagan's overseas theatrical deal has been locked at a record price. ## It is said that overseas rights of the movie have been acquired on a refundable advance basis for a record-breaking price of 75 crores. This is said to be the all-time biggest deal for a Tamil title, beating the previous record of Leo (60+ crores) which also starred Vijay. ## Jana Nayagan is directed by H. Vinoth and produced by KVN Productions. It is possibly to be Vijay's final film before his political entry and the studio's first Tamil production. 'Pushpa 2 - The Rule' OTT Release Date Revealed Without Hindi Version

Hyderabad, January 28 - After the historic box office success, superstar Allu Arjun's action drama Pushpa 2 - The Rule is gearing up for its streaming debut. The movie, directed by Sukumar, the mega-blockbuster will stream on Netflix. ## On Monday, Netflix announced that Pushpa 2 - The Rule would stream in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada languages with the reloaded version of 23 minutes of extra footage which was released in theatres on January 17. It will start streaming on January 30. ## Meanwhile, the streaming giant hasn't confirmed the Hindi version release with the South Indian languages and the reason for the same is not known yet. Mumbai, January 28 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and director Siddharth Anand created history with their maiden collaboration in spy action thriller Pathaan. The film went on to gross over 1000 crores worldwide and is one of the biggest Indian blockbusters ever. ## The duo is now set to reunite for King Khan's next blockbuster titled King. The movie was supposed to be directed by Kahaani fame Sujoy Ghosh but eventually decided to drop the plan to hand directorial duty to Anand and the development has officially been confirmed by SRK himself. ## Shah Rukh Khan recently attended an event in Abu Dhabi where he spoke about his upcoming movie, King. "I am just just shooting it. I will be shooting it for a couple of months. My director, Siddharth Anand, is very strict. He made Pathaan also. Mumbai, January 27 - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par is set to be delayed to the end of this year. Directed by R. S. Prasanna, the comedy-drama is one of the highly-anticipated Bollywood movies of the year and a potential big comeback for the actor after the debacle of Laal Singh Chaddha. ## Sitaare Zameen Par has been in production since early 2024 and was supposed to be released during Christmas 2024 weekend before makers postponed it to early 2025, but not anymore. Aamir Khan has confirmed that the movie would now be released on Christmas this year. ## The Dangal star attended the Republic Day celebrations at the Statue of Unity in Vadodara on Sunday where he shared the details about the project. Hyderabad, January 26 - Things are moving faster than expected for Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted Kalki - Part 2, which is the sequel to 1000+ crores grosser Kalki 2898 AD. Recently, producer Ashwini Dutt revealed the shooting plans of the movie, and now, director Nag Ashwin provides a crucial update on the same. ## In a recent interview, director Nag Ashwin revealed that the script work on Kalki 2 has been completed and the makers are waiting for the bulk dates of Prabhas, Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan, who played the main roles in the film, to start shooting which is expected to commence in mid of this year. ## The blockbuster director also said that they are planning to release Kalki 2 towards the end of 2026 in cinemas worldwide, depending on the progress of the filming. Mumbai, January 25 - Telugu veteran Venkatesh Daggubati's action comedy Sankranthiki Vasthunam has entered the 200 crores gross club at the worldwide box office, becoming the first film for the actor to achieve the feat. ## Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the Sankranthi blockbuster hit the double century on its 12th day which is one of the fastest non-Pan India Telugu titles to do so. The movie is having a super strong second weekend domestically and through Saturday, it has stormed past the box office milestone. ## In India, Sankranthiki Vasthunam has grossed approximately 172+ crores while overseas business is around 31 crores for the worldwide cume total of 203+ crores in 12 days. Hyderabad, January 24 - Superstar Allu Arjun's action drama Pushpa 2 - The Rule has had a dream run at the box office and has completed 50 days since its debut on December 5 last year. The Sukumar's directorial is closing in its box office journey but not before rewriting history. ## Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, the second part of the Pushpa series has grossed over 1736 crores worldwide, including over 1466 crores in India and over 270 crores at the overseas box office in 50 days so far and emerged as an all-time blockbuster. ## The film will finish as the third highest-grossing Indian movie of all time at the worldwide box office, behind only Baahubali 2 (1790 crores approx.) and Dangal (2070 crores approx.). Sunny Deol's 'Jaat' Official Release Date Announced

Mumbai, January 24 - After the historic success of Gadar 2, Bollywood star Sunny Deol teamed up with Telugu director Gopichand Malineni for mass entertainer Jaat which is the director's maiden Bollywood project. Telugu giant Mythri Movie Makers produces the film with People Media Factory. ## On Friday (January 24), the makers announced the release date of this much-awaited action drama. It has been confirmed that Jaat will hit the big screen on April 10 this year in Hindi and the dubbed versions of Telugu and Tamil. ## It is to be noted that Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi's highly-awaited courtroom comedy drama Jolly LLB 3 is scheduled for an April 11 release and if things remain unchanged, it will be the second round of epic box office clash between Akshay and Sunny after 2023's Gadar 2 and OMG 2. ## The plot details of Jaat have been kept under wraps but it is said that Sunny will be up against 5 antagonists in the movie.
