Mumbai, July 6 - Kalki 2898 AD exploded on its second Saturday at the Hindi box office with a massive jump of around 90% from Friday which is sensational. The overall jump for all versions is over 100% which speaks a lot about the acceptance of the movie among the general audience. ## The Hindi version of the movie was breathing fire today as it scored an estimated 18-19 crore net and it could go a little higher depending on the single screens. The second weekend is looking to be around 50 crores, a drop of just around 40% from the first Friday to Sunday weekend.## The total collection of Kalki 2898 AD Hindi version is around 190 crores in 10 days and tomorrow, on its second Sunday, it will not only top 200 crores net but will also have a chance to beat Hrithik Roshan's Fighter (212.80 crores net approx.) to become the biggest Hindi grosser of the year domestically. ## In all versions, Kalki minted an estimated 40+ crores gross on its second Saturday, with an estimated jump of around 105% from yesterday. Hyderabad, July 6 - Another box office milestone unlocked for Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted Kalki 2898 AD as it has become the 11th film ever to top 500 crores gross collection at the Indian movie, and first of 2024. ## Directed by Nag Ashwin, the sci-fi epic crossed 500 crores gross in India after scoring another approximately 20 crores on its 9th day, taking the total to an estimated 514+ crores so far. Kalki 2898 AD is the third movie of Prabhas, the second for Deepika Padukone, and the first for Amitabh Bachchan to top this box office milestone while playing a lead role.## The latest blockbuster is currently the 11th highest-grossing title in India and is in touching distance with Prabhas' Baahubali - The Beginning which minted an estimated 516 crores India gross in 2015. Mumbai, July 5 - Director Nag Ashwin's sci-fi epic blockbuster Kalki 2898 AD inches one step closer to 1000 crores gross after topping 700 crore gross collection on its 9th day at the worldwide box office, becoming the first Indian movie of the year to do so. ## The Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted flick grossed an estimated 709+ crores worldwide, including 514+ crores in India and 195 crores at the overseas box office. It scored an estimated 25+ crores gross on its second Friday (9th day).## Kalki 2898 AD is the second film of Prabhas after Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion to top this box office milestone. Deepika Padukone, who plays the female lead in the movie, also scored his second 700 crore grosser after Pathaan in a lead role. Mumbai, July 5 - Bollywood star Alia Bhatt, and Sharvari Wagh have officially been confirmed to headline Yash Raj Films' first female-led Spy Universe film, titled Alpha. The film is directed by The Railway Man director Shiv Rawail. ## The movie has been in the news since last year and now, on July 5, Yash Raj Films has announced the official title with a voice teaser and also confirmed the shooting commencement. ## In the teaser, Alia Bhatt can be heard saying, "The first letter of the Greek alphabet... and our program's motto - the first, the fastest, the strongest. Mumbai, July 4 - Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted Kalki 2898 AD has become the actor's second highest-grossing film at the worldwide box office, after topping SS Rajamouli's directorial Baahubali on its 8th day of run. ## Directed by Nag Ashwin, the sci-fi epic grossed approximately 641 crores worldwide in the first 7 days, and with its 8th day's collection (2nd Thursday), the movie has topped Baahubali - The Beginning which grossed an estimated 650 crores worldwide in 2015. ## Kalki 2898 AD has been on a dream run since its debut on June 27. It became only the 6th Indian movie ever to score 500+ crores worldwide gross collection in the opening weekend and will end the extended first week total to around 675 crores. ## As has been the case with Prabhas' recent films, the Hindi version has once again delivered for the actor and added immense value to the overall collection. Mumbai, July 4 - Marvel Studios' highly-anticipated superhero movie Deadpool and Wolverine hits three weeks box office projections which indicate the record-breaking opening for the movie, not only of the year but also for an R-rated title ever. ## According to Deadline (which quoted three-week-in-advance box office tracking services), Deadpool 3 is tracking to open, at least, $160 million - $165 million in its three-day opening weekend (July 26-28) at the North American box office. It will be the biggest start of the year, beating Inside Out 2 ($154.2 million). ## The $160 million - $165 million opening projections could be conservative as a tracking report from tracking service Quorum, projected $200+ million start, and per Deadline, the agency is still sticking to its numbers. Even if Deadpool & Wolverine isn't as sharp as that projection, it's still bound for a fantastic start. ## As said, Deadpool 3 is aiming at the biggest R-rated debut domestically, given the projection stands. The first Deadpool movie made history by opening to $132.40 million domestically in February 2016, which is still the biggest R-rated box office debut. Deadpool 2, released in May 2018, debuted at $125.5 million.## As reported recently, the pre-sales of Deadpool 3 broke the first-day record of 2024 and probably has the highest advance sales so far for any movie of the year. Mumbai, July 4 - Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted Kalki 2898 AD has beaten Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's Fighter to score the biggest first week of 2024 at the Hindi box office. ## Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD has earned approximately 152.30 crores net collection in Hindi in 7 days so far, whereas, Fighter had scored 146.50 crores in its extended first week. Both the movies have had a Thursday release, leading to an 8-day extended week. ## Interestingly, Siddharth Anand's directorial, Fighter had posted a bigger opening weekend with approximately 118.50 crores net than Kalki 2898 AD's 109 crores. However, there will be, at least, a 15 crores difference between the two films at the end of the full first week with marching ahead. ## Fighter scored approximately 212.75 crores net collection in its lifetime run which Kalki could topple in the second weekend to become the biggest Hindi grosser of the year. Kalki also crossed the total collection of Ajay Devgn's Shaitaan which is now the third biggest Hindi grosser of 2024 domestically with approximately 148.25 crores net. ## At the worldwide box office, the Prabhas-starrer sci-fi epic has grossed an estimated 641 crores, including 468 crores in India in all languages. Hyderabad, July 3 - After another good day at the box office, director Nag Ashwin's mega-blockbuster Kalki 2898 AD has topped 600 crores gross collection worldwide in just 6 days, becoming one of the fastest Indian movies to achieve the milestone. ## The Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted tentpole has been on a winning spree since day 1 and breaking records left, right, and centre. After reaching the milestone of 500 crores worldwide gross in the 4-day opening weekend itself, the movie showed a strong hold on Monday to go past 550 crores and kept the momentum going on Tuesday to reach the next target. ## On its 6th day, Kalki 2898 AD minted an estimated 40+ crores at the worldwide box office, including 32+ crores domestically to take its total worldwide cume to around 610 crores, including an estimated 441+ crores in India.
