Mumbai, April 25 - Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's fronted action thriller Bade Miyan Chote Miyan has crossed 100 crores at the worldwide box office but it is not a chest-thumping achievement due to the poor progress in reaching the mark. ## Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan has taken 14/15 days to reach 100 crores worldwide, a target which should have been achieved in the opening weekend itself but the chances were dismissed after the below-average start. ## The movie has grossed around 69 crores at the domestic box office and an estimated 31 crores overseas. BMCM is the 6th Bollywood film of 2024 to hit 100 crores worldwide and for Akshay Kumar, it is his first of 2024 and 3rd movie since the covid-19 pandemic. Chennai, April 25 - Thalapathy Vijay's Ghilli is showing excellent consistency at the box office since its re-release on April 20. After the excellent first two days, the sports action drama has no to minimum drop during the working weekdays. ## On its first Wednesday (5th day), Ghilli showed no drop and grossed another around 1.50 crores gross collection, pushing total domestic collection to around 13.25 crores in just 5 days. It is currently the 6th highest-grossing Tamil movie of 2024 in the domestic market. ## At the worldwide box office, the blockbuster film has crossed 17 crores gross mark, making it the 6th highest-grossing Tamil movie of the year. Jio Cinema Offers Lowest Subscription Plan In India

Mumbai, April 25 - Amid the steady decline in the popularity of digital platforms and to challenge other platforms in India, Mukesh Ambani's JioCinema on April 25 announced a significant two-third reduction in prices for its premium services for Indian customers. ## According to Mint, JioCinema premium subscription will now be available for as low as Rs. 29 per month for a single device and Rs. 89 per month for four devices in India. Previously, the platform offered its premium service at ₹99/month or ₹999/annually for streaming on up to four devices simultaneously. ## The new monthly subscription plan of Jio Cinema is almost 10X lower than the second-lowest Amazon Prime Video and Sony Liv which offer the premium plan at Rs. 299/month. Netflix, which is already facing difficulties in making a big impact in India, has the costliest premium plan Rs. 649/month. ## The new JioCinema plan includes online and offline viewing, in 4K quality, for foreign movies, TV series and kids' programming on any device in five languages. Chennai, April 24 - Thalapathy Vijay's sports action drama Ghilli continues to impress at the box office since its re-release on April 20, Saturday. In the first two days, the movie grossed around 8.50 crores in India before taking the domestic collection past 10 crores with a strong hold on Monday. ## The movie minted around 1.75 crores in gross collection on its third day (Monday) which pushed the domestic collection to around 10.25 crores. Mumbai, April 24 - Zack Snyder's epic space opera film Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver was the number one movie worldwide on Netflix's top 10 chart, but it failed to match the opening weekend numbers of its predecessor Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire which was released in December last year. ## Released on April 19, Rebel Moon 2 scored 44.2 million viewing hours from 21.4 million views in its first 3-day weekend. It generated 10.5% lower viewership than the first movie which scored 54.1 million viewing hours from 23.9 million views in its opening weekend.## Just like the first part, the sequel also opened to terrible critics' reviews while audience reception was also not encouraging which restricted it to below the first movie. Chennai, April 22 - Thalapathy Vijay's sports action drama film Ghilli was re-released on April 20 worldwide and scored the biggest-ever opening for a South Indian movie upon the re-release with a gross collection of approximately 7.75 crores, including 4.75 crores in India. ## The opening of the film proved Vijay's mega pull at the box office which also provided some relief to the Tamil Nadu theatres which are having a dry spell this year. Kochi, April 21 - Prithviraj Sukumaran's survival thriller Aadujeevitham: The Goat Life is climbing to new heights at the worldwide box office despite slowing down with each passing day. ## After becoming the third highest-grossing Malayalam movie of all time, beating Pulimurugan, Aadujeevitham has now become only the third Mollywood title ever to reach the 150 crores mark at the global box office. ## Directed by Blessy, the film grossed over 151+ crores worldwide in 25 days and crossed the 150 crores gross mark.
