Prabhas-Fronted 'Salaar: Ceasefire' Scored Big Milestone In Nizam

Hyderabad, December 26 - Superstar Prabhas-fronted action drama Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire has breached a major box office milestone in the Nizam area. The Prashanth Neel's directorial, which has fantastic collections all over, becomes only the 3rd film ever to score 50 crores share in Nizam. ## Salaar breached the 50 crore share mark in Nizam after scoring around 9 crore share collection on its 4th day. The total share in this area has reached around 51 crores, making it only the third movie after SS Rajamoli's RRR (111.89 crores share) and Baahubali 2 (68 crores share) to score over 50 crores share collection. ## The overall share collection of Salaar is 108+ crores in Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) after 4 days which is a fantastic outcome. The break-even target of the movie in AP/TG is around 145 crores and with the holiday season ongoing, the movie should easily cross that market and turn into a major box-office success for the makers. ## Meanwhile, at the worldwide box office, Salaar is nearing 400 crores gross mark after just 4 days. The film scored approx. 50 crores gross on its 4th day in India and worldwide gross around 65 crores to take the total collection to around 390 crores to date. ## Stay tuned...

The advances of the film for tomorrow are decent but from here on, the walk-ins will be crucial.## Prabhas-fronted Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire had a big first 3-day weekend in India with over 209 crores net collection in all versions. Box Office: 'Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom' Scored A Low Opening Weekend In India

Mumbai, December 25 - Warner Bros. Pictures superhero movie Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom has had a disappointing extended first weekend at the Indian box office. ## The movie was already carrying a low buzz, plus, it was up against Indian heavyweights this Christmas weekend. The only hope for the movie to have some sort of respite was to get positive word of mouth which didn't happen, resulting in a flop start at the box office.## The Jason Momoa-starrer sequel grossed approximately 12.80 crores in India in the first 4-days. The first movie "Aquaman" had grossed approx. 29 crores in its 3-day opening weekend in 2018, but here, "Aquamen 2" is unlikely to reach that mark in its lifetime run. ## Directed by James Wan, the film also had a soft start in its home market, North America, with just $28.1 million (235 crores gross) in the 3-day weekend, including premiers. Outside North America, "Aquaman 2" scored $80 million (665 crores), for $108.10 million (900 crores) globally in the opening weekend. ## China was the biggest market for the film, even bigger than North America, with $31.1 million opening weekend gross. Mexico was the third biggest contributor with $5 million, followed by Indonesia with $3.6 million, and France with $3.2 million. The film carries a budget of over $200 million. ## Stay tuned...

Hyderabad, December 25 - Over the last couple of months, there have been ample speculations around Tamil director Atlee's next film. The director at the moment is on cloud nine having delivered the biggest blockbuster of his career with superstar Shah Rukh Khan's "Jawan", and has even expressed his desire to reunite with him. ## It is a known fact that Atlee has been in discussions with many superstars across the industries for his next film, and now, according to Pinkvilla, the blockbuster director's next film is likely to be with Telugu superstar Allu Arjun, who is currently shooting for highly-anticipated Pan India film "Pushpa 2 - The Rule". ## It is said that Atlee and Allu Arjun have been in talks for a possible collaboration and things are finally heading in the right direction. While the Pushpa star is yet to sign the movie officially, his next after "Pushpa 2" will most likely be with Atlee and the shoot for the same is expected to commence in October this year. ## "The duo have agreed upon a solid commercial entertainer that would present the icon star like never before. Box Office: 'Animal' Scores Well In 4th Weekend Domestically With Limited Showcasing

Mumbai, December 25 - Ranbir Kapoor's mega-blockbuster Animal is fighting it out to keep the cash register ringing despite the showcasing drastically reduced after the arrival of Shah Rukh Khan's "Dunki" and Prabhas-fronted "Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire at the domestic box office. ## Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal has had a very good 4th weekend in India, scoring approximately 4.90 crores net collection, including approx. 4.55 crores net in Hindi alone. In Hindi, the movie has minted over 486 crores net so far. At once, it looked like Animal will be able to top 500 crores net in Hindi easily but now, things are looking difficult unless it holds strongly through New Year weekend. ## Animal may also miss the 900 crores mark at the global box office and competition is consistently increasing which is leading to low showcasing for the movie everywhere. Through 4th weekend, the movie has minted approximately 870 crores gross, including an estimated 231 crores overseas collection.## However, irrespective of where the movie finishes at the end of its run, Animal is one of the biggest blockbusters in Indian cinema history, and easily the biggest for an adult-rated film.## Stay tuned...

Marvel Studios 'Avengers: Secret Wars' Rumoured To Have Massive Runtime; To Be Split Into Two Parts

Los Angeles, December 22 - Marvel Studios' Avengers: Secret Wars is shaping up to be a two-part film owing to its massive runtime, according to a new insider report by Jeff Sneider (TheInSneider). The movie, however, is still in the scripting stage and is not going to start filming anytime soon. ## Avengers: Secret Wars will be the end of Marvel's multiverse saga, and the reports suggest it will be a 5-hour movie with a year-long intermission and the plans are already there to split it into two parts This suggests that its current slated date of May 7, 2027, will be quickly followed by "Avengers: Secret Wars" (Part 2) in 2028. ## Before Secret Wars, there is "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty" which is now reportedly referred to as Avengers 5 after actor Jonathan Majors who played Kang dropped from the MCU. 'Salaar: Ceasefire' Opening Day Box Office Expectations

Hyderabad, December 21 - Director Prashanth Neel has been living a dream of seeing the theatres getting filled for one of his initial subjects in a new form and he couldn't have teamed up with a bigger star than Prabhas to do that for him and the time has finally arrived in a few hours. ## Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire has been in the making for the last two years and it is easily one of the most anticipated Indian films. Produced by Hombale Films, the movie is seen as a big comeback for Prabhas in particular after a few box office misfires over the last few years. ## Even though the recent films of Prabhas couldn't repeat the heroics of his past films they still scored big openings and Salaar is not going to be any different on that front. The movie is targeting one of the biggest openings for an Indian title at the worldwide box office looking at the pre-sales trend. ## The bookings of Salaar, despite not getting much support from national chains, are outstanding, to say the least. In India, the film has already grossed over 42 crores from online bookings while overall sales (including offline shows) should be around 60 crores for the opening day in all languages which is excellent. ## As per the booking trend, Salaar opening in India is tracking to over 100 crores gross as it is expected to be somewhere around 100-110 crores gross. In its main market, Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana), the film is expected to take the opening in the vicinity of 70 crores, which is one of the biggest ever. ## The Hindi market is going to be a key to Salaar's overall success and as per the booking trend, the movie is heading for a good start. It is mass-friendly and is expected to score around 20 crores gross in the Hindi belt. In Karnataka, the movie is projected to gross around 12 crores on the opening day, followed by 4+ crores in Kerala, and over 3 crores in Tamil Nadu. ## The overseas pre-sales of the movie are fantastic and the opening in international markets is expected to be 45+ crores, which will make it 150-160 crores opening day at the worldwide box office, making it the biggest for an Indian film of 2023.## The aforementioned projections are purely based on the booking trend and how pan-India Telugu films have behaved in the past, so these numbers may vary by some margin. Still, Salaar is on track to create some new records at the box office and if reports are favourable, then the sky is the limit for Prabhas-starrer tentpole. ## Stay tuned...
