Box Office: Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal' Targets 100+ Crore Worldwide Opening
Mumbai, November 30 - The stage is set for Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor's Animal to go bang bang at the box office, be it domestic or worldwide. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga's directorial is witnessing extraordinary response in the advance sales everywhere for the opening day, which is December 1st. ## The gangster action drama film is all set to become the third Bollywood movie to open with 100+ crores gross at the worldwide box office, as per the advance booking trend. In India, the advance booking of "Animal" is competing with Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" which opened to massive numbers of approx. 68 crores gross in January this year. ## "Animal" is expected to take an opening of 50-60 crores gross opening in the original Hindi version and is likely to score 10+ crores gross in the dubbed Telugu version. The overall domestic opening of the film is projected to be 65+ crores gross, and this despite the adult rating, is nothing short of a sensational start. ## At the overseas box office, "Animal" is projected to score $5 million - $6 million (41-50 crores) on the first day, including the premieres in North America. Allied to the domestic projection, the film is tracking to gross around 100-115 crores worldwide on the first day. "Pathaan" with 105 crores and "Jawan" with 129 crores are the other two movies to open with 100+ crores worldwide. ## Produced by T-Series, Bhadrakali Pictures, and Cine1 Studios, "Animal" also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in prominent roles.
