Mumbai, November 15 - Salman Khan-led spy action thriller Tiger 3 scored the 3rd highest first three days cumulative net collection in Hindi with 144.50 crores. The film managed to top the opening day collection of 43 crores net on its third day with 43.50 crores, despite the little drop in multiplexes. ## Shah Rukh Khan's "Jawan" is the biggest grosser in the first 3-day opening weekend with 180.45 crores, followed by "Pathaan" with 161 crores. "Tiger 3" didn't have a usual weekend as it was released on Sunday, but it benefitted due to the Diwali holidays. It has additionally scored 3 crores net in Tamil and Telugu for 147.50 crores total net collection in the weekend. ## Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the 5th Yash Raj Films' Spy Universe film has minted approx. 65 crores overseas collection and allied with approx. 177 crores domestic gross, "Tiger 3" has scored approx. 242 crores worldwide in the first three days. The film's extended version is streaming after its theatrical release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. ## Directed by Atlee Kumar, the action thriller recorded 10.6 million viewing hours from 3.7 million views for the Hindi version during the week of November 6 - November 12. The movie scored 14.90 million viewing hours from 5.2 million views during its opening weekend upon its release on November 2nd. ## "Jawan" has scored 25.50 million viewing hours from 8.9 million views so far in just 11 days, making it one of the fastest Indian movies to reach 25 million viewing hours on Netflix. The movie is trending in the top 10 in 17 countries, including number 1 in India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, and 4 other countries. ## Meanwhile, the Tamil and Telugu extended cuts of the film are also trending in the top 10 on Netflix in India, however, the streamer didn't provide the viewership data for both the dubbed versions. In the morning, the movie had a big drop from the opening day but the evening and night shows witnessed huge growth to make up for the drop and now, the collection is nearing the day 1 numbers. ## The Salman Khan-led actioner scored an estimated 41-42 crores net in Hindi, dropping just around 4% from the Diwali opening day. The total Hindi collection of the movie has reached around 142 crores net and all versions around 146 crores in 3 days. The growth is mainly in North India as areas which underperformed on day one come to the party today. ## The spy action thriller is tracking to earn around 56-57 crores net collection in Hindi, which is the second biggest 2nd day. The two-day collection of the film is near or will cross the 100 crores mark in the original language. The Tamil and Telugu versions are expected to bring in around 1 crores net for all India around 58 crores Saturday.## Day 2 of "Tiger 3" started slower than yesterday due to the festive activities but jumped massively from the noon shows with heavy spot bookings. Marvel movies have historically done well in India but the same is not the case with the latest flick which even failed to beat the pandemic hit "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings". ## The sequel to the highest-grossing female-led superhero movie "Captain Marvel" scored just approximately 6.40 crores net collection in all versions in India in the first 3 days. "Shang-Chi", which previously had the lowest opening weekend for an MCU title since the multiverse saga in India, scored approx. 10.60 crores net. ## "The Marvels" took the opening of 2.50 crores net which is again the lowest since the introduction of the multiverse saga. The 600+ crores worldwide gross includes approx. 203 crores overseas collection (studio estimates) while the domestic collection is a little over 397 crores. Mumbai, November 12 - Salman Khan-fronted "Tiger 3" destroyed the Diwali day records at the domestic box office by a huge margin and looks to set one of the biggest openings for a Bollywood movie ever.## The movie has the disadvantage of the Laxmi Pooja which affected the evening and night collection but despite that "Tiger 3" scored around 42 crores net in Hindi, as per the early estimate. The final opening day collection can go up to 43-44 crores, depending on the night shows but 42 crores looks to be locked. The all-India opening (including Tamil and Telugu) is estimated to be around 44-45 crores. ## The opening makes "Tiger 3" the biggest starter for Salman Khan, beating "Bharat" which scored 42.30 crores net in 2019. If it opens on the higher estimates of 43 crores in Hindi then it will be the 6th biggest ever for any movie in Hindi while all versions will be the 5th biggest for a Bollywood film. ## The fact that Salman Khan's previous biggest opener "Bharat" came on a national holiday makes the "Tiger 3" opening excellent considering the odds were against due to Laxmi Pooja which is considered a weak day as far as the box office is concerned, even though the film is a much bigger product than "Bharat". ## The normal Friday release during the Diwali festival could have easily given "Tiger 3" a 60+ crores start but here Yash Raj Films opted for a unique strategy by releasing the film on the day of Diwali.
