Mumbai, June 14 - Director Om Raut's magnum opus Adipurush is just around the corner with just 2 days to go for the release in multiple languages worldwide. It has been one of the most-awaited films due to its subject and solid star cast. ## Produced by T-Series, Retrophiles, and UV Creations, "Adipurush" is based on the epic Ramayana, and stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh, and Devdutt Nage, among others in key roles. The movie has been certified with a "U" certificate by CBFC with the approved runtime of 2 hours and 59 minutes.## As reported earlier, "Adipurush" will release on over 6200 screens in India, including over 4000 screens for the Hindi version only. The advance booking for the same was opened a couple of days and the response so far is very good for the Hindi version which is key for the film's overall success.## The advance booking trend of the "Adipurush" Hindi version is better than SS Rajamouli's "RRR" which scored around 7 crores pre-sales for the opening day. In comparison, "Adipurush" so far has scored around 6 crores with still 1 day to go for the release. It is expected to score around 12-13 crores in advance sales in Hindi for the opening day.## "RRR" opened at 20 crores net in Hindi and going by the pre-booking trend of "Adipurush", it is expected to take an opening of around 25-30 crores net. The opening might be higher considering the family audience might help boost spot booking. It will easily be the second biggest opening of the year in Hindi after Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan".## The opening weekend collection of the Prabhas-fronted could also be higher than "RRR" if the reports are favorable. Disney Reshuffles Release Dates of Entire Marvel Slate and Delays Avatar Sequels

Los Angeles, June 13 - Disney is shaking up its release calendar, including the entire Marvel slate along with James Cameron's "Avatar" movies and adding a new "Star Wars" movie and "Moana" live-action adaptation to the schedule, according to Variety.## Cameron's "Avatar" franchise will reach its conclusion in 2031 with a fifth film, 22 years after the original 2009 blockbuster. As per the new Disney release calendar, "Avatar 3" has shifted to December 2025, followed by "Avatar 4" to December 2029, and "Avatar 5" to December 2031. ## Among its high-profile release slate, Disney has added up a live-action "Moana" film for June 2025, debut, and an untitled "Star Wars" movie on December 2026. ## Meanwhile, the studio has reshuffled the entire Marvel slate. "Deadpool 3" has moved up from November 8, 2024, to May 3, 2024. "Captain America: Brave New World" is moving from May 2024 to July 2024 and this led to delays in other Marvel movies, including "Thunderbolts" to December 2024, "Blade" to February 2025, and "Fantastic Four" to May 2025. ## "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty" is getting pushed back an entire year, from May 2025 to May 2026. It's taking the place of "Avengers: Secret Wars" which was pushed to 2027. Mumbai, June 13 - Superstar Mohanlal's "Drishyam" is one of the most appreciated film franchises in the Malayalam cinema. The second film in the franchise was directly released on OTT in 2021 and won high critical acclaim though many felt it should have been a theatrical release.## The "Drishyam" franchise eventually got a Hindi remake and the second film, unlike the Malayalam version, was released in theaters and emerged as one of the biggest Indian blockbusters of 2022. Now, the makers are gearing up for its third installment. ## In November last year, it was revealed that the makers of Hindi and Malayalam versions of the "Drishyam" series are working on its third installment and it was also revealed that both versions will be shot simultaneously. ## According to Pinkvilla, "Drishyam 3" has gotten into the development stage and it is proving to be a collaboration between the creators in Hindi and Malayalam. Abhishek Pathak, who directed the Hindi version of "Drishyam 2", and his team of writers have cracked a basic core plot for Drishyam 3, which Jeethu Joseph, the Malayalam version of "Drishyam" director, and his team loved. ## In quite an achievement for the team of the Hindi version, Jeethu Joseph and his team have taken the idea for "Drishyam 3" from the team of Hindi Drishyam and are now working towards developing it into a screenplay for the next installment. ## As said, both versions will be shot simultaneously and the makers planning to release both movies on the same date to avoid any spoilers. While Kerala will see the release in Malayalam with Mohanlal as Goerge Kutty, the rest of India will get to see the journey of Ajay Devgn as Vijay Salgaonkar.## "Drishyam 3" will be the final film in the franchise and it is going to be exciting for the audiences to know its conclusion. Prabhas-Fronted 'Adipursh' Overseas Advance Booking Status

Mumbai, June 13 - Superstar Prabhas-fronted Adipurush is having a good response in advance booking collection, domestically and overseas. In India, the movie already has sold over 150K tickets for the opening day and is looking to score one of the biggest pre-sales by the time it releases. ## While the epic drama was expected to have good pre-sales in India, it is also seeing encouraging responses in the key international markets. In the USA, it has so far scored approx. $800K (6.60 crores) with 42K advance tickets sold for the opening day, including premiere.## In Australia, the pre-sales for the opening day is approx. A$150K (83 lacs) so far while in the UK, the pre-sales are around £55K (50 lacs) and around €5K (4.5 lacs) in Germany. In Canada, the advance booking sales so far are around $30K (25 lacs). ## Talking about the USA, "Adipurush" is expected to score $1+ million through the premiere. It scored a very good jump after the XD shows got opened. Mumbai, June 13 - Director Ali Abbas Zafar hasn't come up with a theatrical release since Salman Khan-fronted "Bharat" in 2019. His next big screen release is Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff-fronted "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" which is slated for Eid 2024. ## Meanwhile, the filmmaker may have been away from theaters, but he wasn't away from filmmaking during these last couple of years. He came up with three OTT titles, including the recently released "Bloody Daddy" with Shahid Kapoor. ## "Bloody Daddy" was directly released on Jio Cinema and got mixed responses from the viewers. However, the movie left the director's core audiences asking if the movie could have a theatrical release and if there could be a sequel to it. ## During a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Ali Abbas Zafar said that "It's a big compliment when people watch your content and say it's a big-screen experience", however, he cleared that the movie was always going to be an OTT release since it deals with rough scenes which were important for its storytelling. ## The filmmaker further said that he would love to make a sequel to "Bloody Daddy" if the audience feels associated with the characters for a long time. "People have to be talking about it six months or a year after the release. Then it's a validation that the film and the character have stayed with the audience". He said that if the sequel is made, he will try to make it as a theatrical release.## Ali Abbas Zafar also revealed that he has completed principal photography of "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" and has started editing the film. It is produced by People Media Factory which previously directed Ravi Teja's biggest grosser "Dhamaka" last year. ## "Eagle" will see Ravi Teja donning multiple characters. He is reportedly playing a most wanted painter and a cotton farmer and has other avatars too. The makers unveiled the title of the movie with a short glimpse which shows the actor standing near a lake, partially showing his face. ## The title logo and glimpses of "Eagle" are striking and promise an intriguing action thriller film with top-notch technical standards. According to Pinkvilla, director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is in advanced talks with Tamil superstar Suriya to play this larger-than-life role. ## It is said that Suriya and Mehra already had multiple meetings and things are moving in the right direction quickly.
