Mumbai, June 1 - Manoj Bajpayee-fronted courtroom-drama film Bandaa/Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai was released on May 23 directly on ZEE5. Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, the film is ruling the viewership and is one of the most-watched films of all time on the streamer. ## Now, a week after the film's digital debut, "Bandaa" is unprecedently getting a limited theatrical release on June 2. The actor plays the role of a fierce warrior in the movie and by the looks of the poster, it promises another big-scale entertainer.## The film directed by Bharath Krishnamachari will be an epic fantasy that tells the tale of an ambitious young warrior. It is produced by Bhuvan and Sreekar under the banner of Pixal Studios and presented by Tagore Madhu. Mumbai, June 1 - Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is gearing up for the release of the much-awaited Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani which is expected to score a much-needed hit for him after back-to-back failures. Directed by Karan Johar, RRKPK will hit screens on July 28 this year. ## The actor hasn't officially announced his next film yet but he said to have locked in two films which will be his immediate next after RRKPK. It is well known to everyone that Ranveer has been in talks with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the period musical drama film Baiju Bawra, and according to Pinkvilla, the actor has finally on board the movie. There were some issues regarding the budget which have now been solved. ## Alia Bhatt has already been locked in to play the female lead alongside Ranveer in the film which is expected to go on floors in the first quarter of 2024. It will be Ranveer and Alia's third film after "Gully Boy" and "RRKPK". Before this, Ranveer will shoot for his extended cameo in Rohit Shetty's "Singham Again" starring Ajay Devgn in the lead. ## Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that superstar Shah Rukh Khan won't be doing Don 3 which led to discussions about who will be the next Don. Los Angeles, June 1 - Sony Pictures' animated superhero movie "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" finally hits theaters this weekend worldwide amid roaring critics' scores, indicating that the studio might have a massive winner in their hands. ## As "Across the Spider-Verse" has been released, the producers have set their eyes on the third installment "Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse" which releases in March next year. Now, the good news is that the 3rd movie is not the only Spider-Man project in the makers' minds. ## Producer Amy Pascal confirmed to Variety's reporter Marc Malkin at the "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" premiere in Los Angeles that the studio is already working on "Spider-Woman" movie along with the live-action version of Miles Morales. The "Spider-Woman" movie will hit screens sooner than one can expect, according to Pascal. ## Apart from the aforementioned "Spider-Man" movies, Pascal also said that the already announced fourth "Spider-Man" movie with Tom Holland and Zendaya is still in the works, but the writers' strike has paused development. Now, it is reported that Atlee is in advanced talks with Anushka Sharma to play the female lead role and the actress is said to have given her nod to star in the film. ## Atlee will be producing this film with Murad Khetani while Tamil director Kalees is reportedly on board to direct it. The makers were previously in talks with Janhvi Kapoor for the female lead role but she reportedly turned it down citing date issues. Mumbai, May 31 - Universal Pictures' action thriller film Fast X has turned into a big success at the Indian box office. The Vin Deisel-fronted movie is performing well during the second week and has crossed the 100 crores net box office mark in all versions. ## The 10th main installment in the "Fast & Furious" franchise scored around 100.15 crores net collection in 14 days after scoring 2.05 crores on its second Wednesday. It has become the first Hollywood movie to enter the 100 crores net club in India.## The last Hollywood movie to enter the Century box office club in India was James Cameron's all-time blockbuster "Avatar: The Way of Water" which went on to score over 390 crores in all languages. Overall, "Fast X" is the 11th Hollywood movie of all time and 5th post the covid-19 pandemic to breach the 100 crores mark in India. ## Language-wise, the Hindi version is leading the overall collection of "Fast X" with 47.60 crores, followed by the original English version with 45.61 crores while other versions have scored around 5 crores net through 2nd Tuesday. ## At the worldwide box office, "Fast X" has topped $500 million. The company was in a race with Kerala's prominent theater association, Film Exhibitors United Organisation Of Kerala (FEUOK) to grab the theatrical rights. ## According to the Kerala trade expert AB George, Gokulam Movies grabbed rights for 16 crores as minimum guarantee royalty to acquire the distribution rights of the film in the state. This is the biggest distribution deal ever for a non-Malayalam movie in Kerala, beating "2.O".## Thalapathy Vijay has crazy fan-following among the Kerala audiences and has a very good track record as far as box office success is concerned in the state. He said that the change is happening in the industry and the movies are being planned accordingly. The covid was a huge setback but Akshay is hopeful that by the end of 2024, the industry will have stability and would be in a better position than it is today.## Box office results aside, the "Ram Setu" actor has been accused of charging high upfront fees which lead to an increase in budget and if the movie fails it results in huge losses to the makers. However, the actor revealed that he is not charging upfront fees for quite some time now and all the rumors about his remuneration are not true. ## "It's not true. I am not charging upfront. I am the partner in the films. If Selfiee has flopped, I will not get money or will get just 10% of what my fee was. Today, if you come to me with an idea and if we work on the film, we will work as partners and release it together. If it works, both of us will earn. If not, we both will earn less or not at all. But it won't go in minus", he said in an interview with Mint. ## He further said that despite the fact that Selfiee and Rakshabandhan did not work at the box office, Disney or Zee have not lost money because of these films as he was the one who didn't earn because of not charging upfront. For Selfiee, me and my partner Karan Johar took it.## Meanwhile, Akshay will next be seen in the social drama "OMG 2" which is based on sex education in India.
