All-Time Blockbuster '2018' Becomes The Highest-Grossing Malayalam Movie At The Overseas Box Office

Kochi, May 20 - The all-time blockbuster Malayalam movie continues to amaze the audiences and is having a super solid trend at the box office.## While the movie is performing exceptionally well at the box office, the overseas collections are rather stunning. Internationally, "2018" has grossed 56.60 crores in 15 days, which is an all-time record for a Malayalam movie. ## Directed by Jude Anthany Joseph, "2018" has crossed the lifetime overseas collection of Mohanlal's "Lucifer" which grossed approx. 50 crores in 2019, to become the highest-grossing Malayalam movie. The movie continues to perform above expectations internationally. ## Meanwhile, "2018" will also become the all-time highest-grossing Malayalam movie in the original Malayalam version with today's collection. The total collection of the film stands at 122 crores in 15 days and will beat "Pulimurugan's" 124 crores to become the top grosser in the Malayalam language at the worldwide box office. ## "Pulimurugan", meanwhile, is the highest-grossing Malayalam movie ever with a worldwide collection of around 145 crores. Los Angeles, May 20 - The DC Studios' biggest bet this year, The Flash is getting ready to release this June. It is the first solo movie for DC's iconic superhero characters on the big screen, which will bring Michael Keaton's Batman along with a few other key heroes and villains. ## DC has been all over for the last few years and finding it difficult to win over the hearts of the audiences. "The Flash" too has been in the hot water because of Ezra Miller's controversial past. So, there is a common question about whether the movie will succeed or will meet the same fate as the previous couple of DC movies. ## Directed by Andy Muschietti, "The Flash" involves a solid star power, and given the high cost, Warner Bros. will be hoping and praying for its success. The best thing that has happened with the movie so far is that it is carrying immensely positive talks as the people who have watched it are calling it one of the best superhero movies ever made, and one of them includes Tom Cruise.## The first box office projection for "The Flash", revealed by Box Office Pro is definitely painting a highly positive picture. Bengaluru, May 18 - Social media has been buzzing with the rumor over the last few days that Prabhas-fronted much-awaited action drama film Salaar has been postponed from its September release date. ## The rumour of the film's postponement left fans disappointed, and they can't be blamed as the makers have been tight-lipped in providing genuine updates regarding the progress of the film.
