Mumbai, March 26 - Renowned filmmaker Priyadarshan's next Malayalam film Corona Papers is getting ready for its release in April this year. The action thriller film stars Shane Nigam, Shine Tom Chacko, and Gayathrie Shankar in the leading roles. ## During a recent interview, Priyadarshan said that "Corona Papers" would be his last directorial big-budget Malayalam film. He revealed that his next two films are Bollywood projects and one is them is with superstar Akshay Kumar. ## In 2021, Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan confirmed that they were reuniting for a comedy. The movie was supposed to start in 2022 but due to the covid-19 and other commitments, it couldn't go on floors. Theatrical Runtime of Ajay Devgn-Tabu's 'Bholaa' Revealed

Mumbai, March 26 - Ajay Devgn-fronted and directorial action thriller film Bholaa is gearing up for its release and the curiosity among the fans is building up as the release is getting closer. The Hindi adaptation of the Tamil hit "Kaithi" features Tabu in a prominent role.## The censorship formalities of "Bholaa" were completed on March 20 and it has been certified with a "U/A" certificate by CBFC. The runtime of the film is crisp 2 hours and 25 minutes, which is approx. 2 minutes shorter than the original Tamil movie. ## The first half of "Bholaa" is 1 hour and 19 minutes long while the second half is 1 hour and 6 minutes long. It features some high-octane action sequences, including a 6-minute long bike-truck chase sequence which is said to be the biggest highlight of it. ## Produced by Ajay Devgn FFilms, Dream Warrior Pictures, Reliance Entertainment, and T-Series Films, "Bholaa" is about a prisoner who is finally going home to meet his young daughter. Mumbai, March 26 - The Keanu Reeves-fronted 4th installment of John Wick is turning out to be a sleeper hit in India. Despite having not much pre-release buzz and poor outcomes of the first three films in the franchise, John Wick: Chapter 4 has been able to attract Indian moviegoers in a big way. ## Directed by Chad Stahelski, the latest flick in this neo-noir action thriller series opened to a fantastic 8.75 crores net, including Thursday previews, in India for all languages. It was the biggest opening for the John Wick franchise as well as more than 50% of the total net collection of the first three films. ## With the help of a super solid audience WOM, "John Wick 4" sees a jump of more than 50% on Saturday for approx. 9 crores net, pushing total net collection to approx. 17.50 crores. After this, it has become the highest-grossing John Wick film in India, surpassing the combined net total of approx. 14 crores of the previous films in just two days. ## The first film in the franchise, released in 2014, was a washout in India, scoring just approx. 1 crore net lifetime collection, before "John Wick: Chapter 2" (2017) improved slightly to approx. 2 crore net. "John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum" (2019) was previously the biggest film in the series with approx. 11 crores net. The three films combined did approx. 14 crores net. ## "John Wick 4" will see another big spike in the collection on Sunday. Mumbai, March 26 - Bollywood star Ajay Devgn is gearing up for the release of his much-awaited action thriller Bholaa which arrives on March 30. Apart from playing the title role, Ajay has also directed and produced this entertainer which is the adaptation of the Tamil movie "Kaithi".## After the release of "Bholaa", the actor will directly head to director Neeraj Pandey's romantic thriller Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha and will resume filming in April. It has Tabu, who is also in "Bholaa", as the female lead along with Jimmy Shergill and Saiee Manjrekar in a prominent roles. ## Meanwhile, producer Shreyans Hirawat of NH Studioz has reportedly revealed that they are planning to release the film on Diwali 2023. He stated that the principal filming will be wrapped up by May as they gear up to release it this year. ## Though the makers haven't fixed a release date yet, AMKDT might clash with Salman Khan-fronted mega movie "Tiger 3" which is already slated for Diwali 2023 release. Los Angeles, March 25 - John Wick franchise is soaring to new highs, not just on the box office front but in every way possible. The Keanu Reeves-fronted action thriller film is still in the early days but it is already proving to be an unstoppable force. ## Directed by Chad Stahelski, "John Wick 4" has created some new records in this blockbuster franchise which is growing with each passing film. The movie scored the biggest opening day in the franchise, grossing a spectacular $29.40 million (including $8.90 million Thursday previews) at the domestic (North America) box office.## The $29.40 million opening day is approx. $7 million higher than the third installment which minted $22.60 million in 2019. The first two films did $5.40 million and $11 million in 2014 and 2017, respectively. The opening weekend collection of the latest outing is estimated to gross $70+ million, which will be the record in the series.## Since the film's premiere a couple of weeks ago, the critics are showering high praise, calling it one of the best action films ever. It is now the highest-rated John Wick film on Rotten Tomatoes with a critics' score of 95% (as of now). "John Wick: Chapter 2" and "John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum" have been rated with 89% scores each while the first film scored 86%. ## The movie is also bonding very well with the audiences, receiving a record "A" CinemaScore which is rare for an R-Rated film. Mumbai, March 25 - Actor-filmmaker Ajay Devgn's action thriller Bholaa is getting ready for its worldwide release on March 30. The much-awaited movie is the adaptation of the Tamil hit "Kaithi" which was directed by Lokesh Kangaraj and featured Karthi in the lead role. ## "Kaithi" was part of Kangaraj's cinematic universe which also includes Kamal Haasan's "Vikram". Now, with "Bholaa", Ajay Devgn is set to turn this into a franchise that will be completely different from Lokesh's version. ## During a recent interview with Variety, Devgn revealed that Bholaa ends on a note which will give the feel of the second part. He said that in the upcoming parts, new characters will be introduced and some of them might be revealed in "Bholaa" itself.## "Bholaa ends at a note where you will feel that there is going to be a part two, it would not be a similar part two like 'Vikram' or an adaptation. Because we will be bringing in different kinds of new characters. So yes, it will be a continuation, that's the approach to it", said Devgn.## Also starring Tabu, "Bholaa" is Devgn's 4th directorial and he promised never-before-seen action in this. "It's a big scale film, it's an action film, and the kind of visuals and action we have, we thought that we'd enhance the whole drama and action sequences and the tension. However, over the last few days, there have been rumors doing rounds about the postponement after Megastar Chiranjeevi's "Bholaa Shankar" got announced for Independence Day week release. ## It is said that the makers are now looking to release "SSMB28" either in October on the occasion of Dussehra or Sankranthi 2024. Mahesh Babu is said to be in the favor of Sankranthi's 2024 release. The last film of Mahesh Babu to release on Sankranthi was "Sarileru Neekevvaru" (2020) and it was a blockbuster with a worldwide gross collection of over 200 crores.## Produced by Harika and Hasini Creations, "SSMB28", however, will have to face stiff competition if it arrives on Sankranthi 2024. The Keanu Reeves-fronted action thriller has taken the biggest start of the franchise at the domestic (North America) as well as the overseas box office.## The Chad Stahelski-directed flick opened to an excellent $8.9 million Thursday previews which is just $150K less than the combined previews collection of the first three John Wick movies. The movie is tracking $70+ million opening weekend, which will be the highest in the franchise. ## Impressively, each of the John Wick films has substantially increased its opening weekend release after release. The original "John Wick" (2014) opened with $14 million, followed by 2017's "John Wick: Chapter 2" ($30.4 million) and 2019's "John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum" ($56.8 million).## Meanwhile, the movie has also taken a surprisingly good start at the Indian box office, scoring an estimated 6+ crores gross in all languages.
