Blockbuster Pathaan Roars Past 300 Crores Gross Worldwide In Three Days

Mumbai, January 28 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is having a blockbuster party at the box office as his spy action thriller "Pathaan" running riot across all centers globally. ## Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan" has had historic first two days with a worldwide gross collection of approx 220 crores. All the predictions and estimates are falling short against the Pathaan mania and it has now crossed 300 crores gross worldwide in flat three days. ## "Pathaan" had another huge third day domestically with a gross collection of approx. 45+ crores. Overseas, it had the biggest day so far with an estimated collection of around 45 crores, making it 90+ crores Friday. The worldwide collection after three days is approx. 310 crores (official numbers may vary). ## The Yash Raj Films production has had the biggest-ever opening weekend for a Hindi film, both at the domestic as well as the overseas box office. It has beaten "KGF: Chapter 2" which scored approx. 170 crores opening weekend in Hindi. Tokyo, January 28 - SS Rajamouli's period action drama film "RRR", which is flying high in the international awards, has completed 100 days at the Japan box office on a sensational note. ## Starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan, "RRR" was released in Japan on October 21, 2023, and has been going strong there week after week. It has already become the biggest Indian grosser a long time ago in Japan by crossing Rajinikanth's "Muthu" (¥400 million) and it continues to pile on the momentum. ## The blockbuster movie is now in its 15th weekend with a gross collection of approx. ¥725 million (approx. 45.50 crores) in 100 days. The last couple of weeks has been extraordinary for "RRR" in the anime country with the 14th week emerging as the biggest so far in its run over there. ## "RRR" grossed ¥120 million in its 14th week, which is ¥39 million more than the first-week collection in the country. Shah Rukh Khan along with other lead casts of the film have now two back-to-back biggest single days at the Bollywood box office. ## The two-day domestic collection of this Siddharth Anand's directorial is around 150 crores gross, which is the highest two days count for a Bollywood film. The tide has turned in the last week of the month as Bollywood biggie Pathaan has started ruling the domestic box office. ## The Shah Rukh Khan-fronted has crossed 140 crores gross in just two days and set a new record for Hindi films. After the historic opening day, "Pathaan" went overdrive on its second day which also happens to be Republic Day with a gross collection in the range of 80 crores, which is unheard numbers. ## The domestic box office on Republic Day was in full flow and it witnessed the biggest day of the year so far with total gross collection coming in the range of 100 crores.
