The Cast For Akshay Kumar's Comedy Film With Mudassar Aziz Locked

Mumbai, November 23 - A few months ago, it was reported that Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar would be teaming up with director Mudassar Aziz for a comedy-drama film, titled Khel Khel Mein. The yet-to-be-announced film will be produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.## While the movie is not yet made official, the makers have reportedly locked the rest of the cast alongside Akshay in prominent roles. According to Hindustan Times, Akshay's "Bell Bottom" (2021) co-star Vaani Kapoor, and also his "Naam Shabana" (2017) and "Mission Mangal" (2019) co-star Taapsee Pannu would be playing the female lead role.## In addition to this, the upcoming movie will also reportedly feature popular Punjabi singer and actor Ammy Virk in a prominent role. Some more actors are also expected to come on board for which the details are not revealed yet. "Khel Khel Mein" is said to be a proper comedy feature with emotional elements. ## The shooting of "Khel Khel Mein" is expected to kickstart sometime next year after Akshay wraps up his ongoing projects. He will also start Ali Abbas Zafar's big-budget comedy actioner "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan", co-starring Tiger Shroff, in January 2023. Mumbai, November 22 - Malayalam superstar Mohanlal's suspense thriller Drishyam 2 was released directly on Amazon Prime Video in February 2021 and received critical acclaim. Jeetu Joseph directed the film that was hailed as one of the best thrillers ever in Malayalam cinema.## The Hindi remake of "Drishyam 2", starring Ajay Devgn in the lead role, was released in theaters on November 18 and scored blockbuster numbers in the opening weekend. The movie is on track to become a huge blockbuster and become one of the biggest-grosser of 2022. ## Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Jeetu Joesph is working on the script of "Drishyam 3" and now, according to Times of India, the Hindi producer of the movie, Kumar Mangat has also greenlit the third part.## The report says that, unlike the first two parts, "Drishyam 3" will simultaneously be made in Malayalam and Hindi and both will be released on the same day. Mumbai, November 22 - Ajay Devgn-fronted suspense thriller Drishyam 2 is breathing fire at the box office, giving a rare moment to the Bollywood industry to rejoice.## Abhishek Pathak's directorial has had the second-biggest opening weekend for a Bollywood movie in 2022 with 64.14 crores net in the first three days. It scored a super solid jump over the weekend to ensure a huge weekend. The eyes were on Monday's test, and the film passed it with flying colors by scoring 11.87 crores net. ## The sequel to 2015's film, "Drishyam 2" has crossed 100 crores at the global box office in just 4 days, becoming only the 7th outright Bollywood movie to do so in 2022. It has grossed 89.69 crores at the domestic box office and approx. 20 crores internationally, for 109.69 crores worldwide in 4 days.## "Drishyam 2" is heading towards a huge lifetime total and is on track to become one of the biggest hits post the covid-19 pandemic. With the current trend, it will breach the 100 crores net mark in a flat first week with worldwide around 150 crores. It will be against a tough opponent from the upcoming weekend in the form of "Bhediya", but it will still retain a significant number of screens thanks to the remarkable word of mouth. ## Produced by Panorama Studios, Viacom18 Studios, and T-Series Films, "Drishyam 2" will look to achieve the 200 crores mark globally in the second week. Kantara Crosses 400 Crores At The Worldwide Box Office

Bengaluru, November 22 - Hombale Films has another reason to be proud as its latest sensation, Kantara has crossed 400 crores at the global box office in 53 days. It is the second back-to-back film for the studio to reach this rare box office milestone, after KGF: Chapter 2.## The Rishab Shetty-starrer has grossed a might 358.50 crores (304.10 crores net) in India, making it the third highest-grossing film at the domestic box office in 2022 after "KGF 2" and "RRR". Among the all-time domestic-grosser, "Kantara" is at the 17th number. ## Made with a budget of just 16 crores, "Kantara" has been excellent at the overseas box office as well as it performed much better than expected. It has grossed 43 crores internationally, helping worldwide gross cume to reach 401.50 crores, making it the 5th Indian film of 2022 and 24th of all-time to breach the milestone. ## Originally released in the Kannada language, the film was dubbed in other languages and released in theaters. Mumbai, November 21 - The blockbuster Pakistani Punjabi film The Legend of Maula Jatt is on the historic box office run, breaking records amid the political turmoil in the country. ## Directed by Bilal Lashari, TLOMJ has outstormed all the low expectations and becomes the first Pakistani movie ever to reach PKR 200 crores gross at the worldwide box office. It was also the first Pakistani movie to reach 100 crores globally but has managed to extend its run to the next level.## The action-drama film, starring Fawad Khan as the titular character, is already the highest-grossing Pakistani movie, both domestically and overseas. It has grossed approx. PKR 80 crores in Pakistan while the overseas collection is PKR 123 crores to date, for worldwide cume approx. 203 crores, according to local trade analysts.## "The Legend of Maula Jatt" is the adaption of the 1979 cult classic film "Maula Jatt", which was itself a huge blockbuster. Hyderabad, November 21 - Tollywood filmmaker Prasanth Varma's next HanuMan with actor Teja Sajja is in post-production. The shoot of the movie was done a long time back but due to the heavy VFX, the post-production work is taking a bit longer time than expected.## Meanwhile, as the post-production is happening, the makers released the first teaser of the superhero movie, which is based on the epic character of the epic Ramayana, Lord Hanuman, but the story is based on current times. The teaser gives a brief view into the world created by Varma, and it can be termed an ambitious attempt at India's original superhero.## Made on a relatively lower budget than other VFX-heavy films, the "HanuMan" teaser is nothing short of a visual extravaganza. Though the teaser didn't reveal much about the story, it is full of goosebumps moments with the last shot being the highlight of it where Lord Hanuman resembles Lord Shiva, covered with ice Shivling in the ice cave.## The teaser introduces the characters of the protagonist Teja, Amrita Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and others. Los Angeles, November 21 - Marvel Studios' latest blockbuster Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has crossed the $500 million mark at the global box office at the end of the second weekend.## The superhero movie, directed by Ryan Coogler, was the number one movie at the domestic (North American) box office for the second weekend in a row. It grossed $67.3 million in its second weekend in North America, pushing total domestic cum to $288 million in 10 days.## The drop for "Black Panther 2" was around 63% which is higher than the first Black Panther movie but relatively low as compared to the recent Marvel tentpoles, "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" and "Thor: Love and Thunder" which posted declines in the 67 percent range. ## At the international box office, the sequel grossed $258.3 million after approx. $70 million in the second weekend from 50 markets, pushing total global cume to over half a billion at $546.3 million. As per Deadline, the drop was just 49% overseas on the second weekend which is better than the majority of other MCU titles for the same suite of markets.## Despite the heavy first two weekends at the worldwide box office, "Black Panther 2" is nowhere close to its predecessor as Hollywood analysts are predicting it to be wrapped under $1 billion at around $850 million.
