Change In Producers For Prabhas' Film With Director Maruthi?

Mumbai, August 16 - Prabhas is one of the busiest actors in India currently and has been simultansouly shooting for a couple of films at a time.## Meanwhile, in between big-budget films, Prabhas is looking to take a quickie with director Maruthi. The movie has been in the news for a long time, however, things haven't been made official to date. Now, the movie is reportedly going through a major change. ## According to inside buzz, producer DVV Danayya, who was supposed to produce the film has backed out due to the continuous delay in the production. It is said that the movie has been put on hold for now due to several commitments of Prabhas right from the shooting of Projekt K, dubbing of Adipurush and Salaar. ## The film is reportedly titled "Raja Deluxe" and will have three actresses. Malavika Mohanan is said to be finalized to play one of the female leads. It is said that a producer of a recent successful film will now produce Prabhas' film with Maruthi. However, the film's future completely depends on the "Saaho" actor who is yet to find dates for the same. ## Prabhas, meanwhile, will next be seen in director Om Raut's magnum opus "Adipurush", which is scheduled to release on January 12, 2023. Hyderabad, August 16 - Actor Nikhil Siddharth's Karthikeya 2 has achieved the break-even target in just 3 days and becomes Tollywood's third straight hit. With a worldwide share collection of around 15 crores, the mythological mystery thriller has joined the likes of "Sita Ramam" and "Bimbisara" in delivering big at the box office for Telugu movies in the last two weeks. ## Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, "Karthikeya 2" has had trouble getting a wide release, which could have helped it to register bigger numbers at the box office. The film was supposed to release last month but was forced to postpone as the makers were not being able to book enough theaters due to other releases. ## Despite the limited release, the movie has been able to leave a lasting impact on the audiences which is resulting in houseful boards outside theaters. Los Angeles, August 16 - Hollywood actor Ezra Millar has issued an official statement following the recent controversies surrounding his life off-camera. "The Flash" revealed in the statement that he has been suffering complex mental health issues and seeking treatment for the same. ## In a statement provided to Variety by Miller's representative, the actor has apologized for his recent actions which led him to legal trouble and a series of abuse allegations over the last couple of years. ## "Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment", Miller says. "I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe, and productive stage in my life". ## Ezra Miller played the DC Comics character Barry Allen in 2017's "Justice League" and its 2021 counterpart, "Zack Snyder's Justice League", however, his off-screen behaviour, which allegendaly led him to assult people, overshedowed his comic-book character. ## Miller off-screen conducts has alarmed his friends and associates, as well as Warner Bros., which still has to find ways to release "The Flash" without any controvery. Mumbai, August 15 - The box office misery for Bollywood continues as Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha and Akshay Kumar-fronted Raksha Bandhan failed to get the benefit of a long holiday period. These two films were expected to bring some relief to the Hindi film industry but they performed underwhelmingly over the 4-day opening weekend. ## Talking about Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha, the film faced multiple challenges due to the boycott calls and mixed word of mouth also didn't help the cause. The remake of the Hollywood classic blockbuster Forrest Gump, "Laal Singh Chaddha" scored 37.96 crores net collection in the first 4 days, which is the lowest opening weekend total for an Aamir Khan film (lead role) since 32.25 crores of "Ghajini" (3 days).## At the overseas box office, the Advait Chandan-directed film has performed better than the domestic market and has grossed 43 crores so far. The worldwide cume total of the film reached 88 crores after 44 days. The movie is produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Aamir Khan Productions while Paramount Pictures distributed the film in international markets.## On the other hand, Akshay Kumar-fronted family comedy-drama film, Raksha Bandhan also met the same fate as LSC. Despite the positive reviews and word of mouth, the Anand L Rai-directed couldn't pick up over the weekend after a decent start. As a result, the movie could score only 28.16 crores net in 4 days as worldwide collection stands at approx. 40 crores. ## Raksha Bandhan was a perfect film, matching the vibes of the Raksha Bandhan festival. However, due to some reasons, the movie couldn't get the required momentum at the box office and ended up performing a low weekend. Los Angeles, August 15 - The Hollywood box office is on the rise and Universal Pictures is leading it by producing blockbusters after blockbusters. In the major achievement, Universal Studio has crossed $3 billion at the worldwide box office in 2022, the first studio to reach the milestone since Disney in 2019.## According to Deadline, the studio has scored $1.74B at the international box office and $1.28B domestically (North America) this year. This is the eighth time Universal has topped the $3B box office mark worldwide. Jurassic World Dominion is leading the chart for the studio with $975 million ($605M overseas/$373.1M domestic) so far. It has set its eyes on touching the $1 billion mark in the coming days. ## "Jurassic World Dominion" is the 5th highest-grossing film (without exchange rates) for Universal at the domestic box office while worldwide, it ranks 8th for the studio. In 2022, the Chris Pratt-starrer is the second biggest-grossing Hollywood movie worldwide, after Paramount Pictures' "Top Gun Maverick" ($1.4B).## The second biggest film this year for the studio is Minions: The Rise of Gru, which has so far grossed $790.4M globally, including $446.7M overseas and $343.7M from domestic. It is already the biggest animated film during the covid-19 pandemic era. Box Office: Jurassic World Dominion Sets Eyes On $1B Globally

Los Angeles, August 14 - Universal Pictures' Jurassic World Dominion has surpassed $600 million at the international box office, after scoring $4.8 million in its 10th weekend. The total overseas collection of the film now stands at $601.4 million from 88 markets, according to Hollywood trade expert Gitesh Pandya.## The Chris Pratt-starrer science fiction actioner has grossed $373.1 million at the domestic (North America) box office and has almost finished its run there. The worldwide cume total of the film has reached $975 million and now, the $1 billion global mark is looking possible.## Interestingly, "Jurassic World Dominion" is the lowest-rated film in the 6-film franchise. The Rotten Tomatoes critic' score is just 30% for the movie, and still, the film has managed to keep up the box office legacy of this blockbuster franchise. If the movie reaches the $1 billion mark, it will become the 4th Jurassic movie to do so. ## China is leading the international box office chart of the film with $157.6 million in its final run, followed by Mexico at number 2 with $42.9 million, the United Kingdom at 3 with $41.5 million, France and Australia at number 4 and 5 with $28.5 million and $24.8 million, respectively. At the Indian box office, the movie scored 92 crores ($11.6M) in its final run. ## Directed by Colin Trevorrow, the film is set four years after the events of Fallen Kingdom, with dinosaurs now living alongside humans around the world. It follows Owen Grady and Claire Dearing as they embark on a rescue mission, while Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler reunite with Ian Malcolm to expose a conspiracy by the genomics corporation Biosyn, a once rival of the defunct InGen.## The film stars an ensemble cast including Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Sam Neill, DeWanda Wise, Mamoudou Athie, BD Wong, and Omar Sy. The movie is also making its presence felt in the dubbed Hindi version.## The movie starring Nikhil Siddharth, Anupama Parameswaran, and Anupam Kher has had just 54 shows on the first day in Hindi but most of them got filled after the super positive word of mouth. Because of the huge demand, more shows and screens got added for the second day. The movie has more than 180 shows in Hindi on Sunday (2nd day). ## "Karthikeya 2" is getting the same response as Allu Arjun's "Pushpa - The Rise" in the Hindi version as far as shows allotment is concerned. "Pushpa" too started on a slow note but after getting positive WOM, more shows were added to the movie which helped it to get excellent results at the box office. ## For "Karthikeya 2", there are already 600+ shows for tomorrow (August 15), and more and more shows are being added with each passing hour.
