Mumbai, June 12 - Tom Cruise's Top Gun: Maverick has refused to slow down at the box office and crossed the $700 million worldwide gross mark after its 3rd weekend. The worldwide collection now stands at an outstanding $747 million. ## At the domestic box office, the Top Gun sequel remained unaffected despite Jurassic World Dominion taking premium screens. It grossed an excellent $50 million in its 3rd weekend, pushing total domestic gross collection to $393 million. ## Directed by Joseph Kosinski, the Paramount/Skydance film added another $52.7M in 64 overseas markets during its third weekend. This takes the international cume to $354 million. The trailer of this visual spectacle will be released on June 15. ## Produced by Dharma Productions in association with Star Studios, the makers of "Brahmastra" joined hands with SS Rajamouli to present the movie in South Indian languages, they are also planning to bring megastar Chiranjeevi on board.## Director Ayan Mukerji reportedly has had a special meeting with Chiranjeevi and it went off well. Seoul, June 12 - South Korean action comedy film, "The Roundup" has become the first movie to sell 10 million tickets in the country since "Frozen 2" in 2019, according to the Korean Film Council. ## The sequel to the 2017 hit movie "The Outlaws", the movie hit the 10 million milestones on its 25th day at the box office. Released on May 18, "The Roundup" scored 10.29 million admissions by Saturday, becoming only the 28th film in South Korean history to achieve the feat. ## Directed by Lee Sang-yong, "The Roundup" is the first South Korean film to achieve the feat after Bong Joon-ho's Oscar-winning black comedy "Parasite," which reached the 10-million milestone in July 2019. It is also the highest-grossing South Korean movie of 2022 with USD 83+ million.## During the covid-19 pandemic, Marvel/Sony's "Spider-Man: No Way Home" scored the highest admissions in Korea with 7.5 million. Los Angeles, June 11 - North Americans love Dinosaurs and it has proved again as Chris Pratt's Jurassic World Dominion roared with a fantastic $60 million Friday gross collection, including $18 million from Thursday previews at the domestic box office. ## The critics' approval is not with the movie with a low 32% score on Rotten Tomatoes, however, the audience is loving it with A- CinemaScore. The opening of the final movie in the "Jurassic World" franchise is the second-biggest of 2022 and 3rd biggest during the covid-19 pandemic era domestically.## The opening weekend of "Jurassic World Dominion" is projected to reach about $140 million, that's only around 5% off the debut of the last movie, "Fallen Kingdom", which opened to $148 million in 2018.
