Vivek Agnihotri's 'The Kashmir Files' Creates A Record On IMDb Ratings
Mumbai, March 13 - As they say, it is the audience that decides the fate of a film and the audience has spoken. Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri's "The Kashmir Files", has created a record on rating site IMDb, and becomes the first Indian or possibly worldwide to get a perfect 10 score from the 50K or above audience votes. ## IMDb is one of the most trustable sources to judge a film. "The Kashmir Files" has been in the news for the last couple of weeks and very rightly, it is getting what it deserves the most. The IMDb's score can also be felt in the box office performance of this film as it surpassed all the expectations by miles. ## The movie has had a limited release on Friday and still managed to earn over Rs. 3.50 crores. Due to the heavy demand for tickets, more shows were added on Saturday, which resulted in a massive jump of nearly 140% on the first Saturday for Rs. 8.50 crores. The Sunday biz is also super strong and might cross the combined two days total. ## Coming back to IMDb, over 66K people have voted for "The Kashmir Files" at present, and out of them, 63K people have given a perfect 10 score. Nearly 500 people have rated the film by giving 9 points and a little over 100 people have given an 8 score. ## "The Kashmir Files" has beaten Suriya's "Jai Bhim" (2021), which currently has a 9.5 IMDb rating from nearly 175K votes.
