Mumbai, August 18, 2021: The fans of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan have been waiting for official updates on his upcoming films, which have been a talk of the town for the last year. Even though the movies are yet to be announced, SRK has reportadly locked his next three films, which promise his return on the big screen with a bang. ## Among the three confirmed films of SRK, his film with Tamil director Atlee has been making a lot of noise for a couple of months now. The movie is believed to be SRK's immediate next after his currently on floors, Pathan, with director Siddharth Anand. Talking about Atlee's film, it will be a Pan-India film that will feature an ensamble cast from Bollywood and South film industry. ## Recently, it was reported that lady superstar Nayanthara approached to play the female lead opposite SRK. While the official confirmation is yet to be made, the actress has been confirmed and set to make her grand Bollywood debut in Atlee's film. Nayanthara has already worked with Atlee in Raja Rani and Bigil, and she is said to be the first choice of director for SRK's film. ## Now, the latest reports say that Dangal fame Sanya Malhotra has also been roped in to join the ensemble team. The actress who's already doing Love Hostel for SRK's banner Red Chillies, will play one of the main characters in this Atlee directorial. She is signed and locked for the film and is very excited to share screen space with the SRK who is set to begin his career's new phase with some global-standard, big-scale, content-driven movies.## Atlee is a popular face down south and has delivered three box office blockbusters with Thalapathy Vijay. He would be hopeful to recreate same magic with SRK's film, which is said to be made in a budget of Rs. 200 crores. The film's pre-production work is already going on in full is expected to kick off by the end of October in Mumbai. ## SRK will also be doing Rajkumar Hirani's social drama film based on immigration. Mumbai, August 17, 2021: Director R. Balki has already started shooting for his next film that is a psychological thriller starring Sunny Deol and Dulquer Salmaan in the lead roles. The yet-to-be-titled film is the first directorial venture for Balki after Akshay Kumar starrer Padman. ## Meanwhile, ever since the movie was announced, there were rumors that legendary Amitabh Bachchan is also a part of the film considering that he shares a good rapport with the filmmaker and has done guest appearances in Balki's previous films too. Well, the filmmaker has now himself confirmed that Big B is indeed an important part of the film and that his role will be decisive. ## Speaking about Big B's role in the film, the director told Spotboye, "He has to be there. I've cast him in every single film of mine beginning with Cheeni Kum where he was the lead to Pad Man where he made a special appearance. In my thriller, Mr. Bachchan will come in at a crucial juncture in the plot. His presence would be decisive, as it always is in my cinema. I'd never cast him just for the sake of casting him". ## Balki is directing Sunny Deol for the first time. Speaking about his decision of casting Sunny in his film, the Paa director said, "I've never worked with him. I don't know why I thought of him. But this was a role that needed a man with an understated machismo. Strong yet vulnerable. A man of a few words whose presence alone makes people pay attention to him. Sunny can command respect without raising his voice or fists. I wanted that personality for this character". ## The film will also have his first collaboration with Malayalam superstar Dulquer Salmaan. "Dulquer is one of the most talented actors today. I wanted to work with him for the longest time. This thriller requires Dulquer presence. His fans will see him in an entirely new light", reveals Balki.## Written by R Balki and co-written by Rishi Virmani and Raja Sen, the movie also has Shreya Dhanwanthary and Pooja Bhatt as the female leads. ICC Announced The Fixtures For Men's T20 World Cup

Mumbai, August 17, 2021: The International Cricket Council (ICC), on Tuesday (August 17), has announced the fixtures of the Men's T20 World Cup 2021. The marquee tournament, scheduled to be played in the UAE and Oman, will get underway from 17 October, with the Final to be played in Dubai on 14 November. ## The blockbuster face-off between India and Pakistan of the Super 12 stage, will take place on October 24 in Dubai at 6 pm local time. The tournament will begin with the Round 1 Group B encounter between hosts Oman and Papua New Guinea at 2 pm local time on 17 October, with Scotland and Bangladesh, the other teams in Group B, clashing in the evening match at 6 pm. ## Ireland, Netherlands, Sri Lanka, and Namibia - making up Group A - will be in action in Abu Dhabi the next day, with Round 1 matches running till 22 October. Recently, it was reported that Badhaai Ho actor would be reuniting with Anand L Rai for a multi-genre film, which Rai would produce. ## Now, the latest development suggests that Ayushmann's film with Rai is a big-scale action film, which will mark the actor's first attempt in the action genre. The movie is said to be different from the regular masala action movies and has reportadly been titled, "Action Hero". Paatal Lok actor Jaideep Ahlawat has been roped in to play the antagonist in this film. ## According to a source quoted by the peeping moon, "Ayushmann is gradually trying to change his image and exploring different genres to prove his versatility as an actor, and this action film is going to be the starting point towards that. The actor will be seen in a distinct look in this film and will undergo rigorous physical training before its principal photography begins later this year. It's Jaideep Ahlawat playing the villain and Ayushmann must build up to look believable against him". ## Anirudh Iyer Ganapathy is said to be making his directorial debut with this movie and he has already started the pre-production. The makers are planning to shoot the movie in the UK sometime in December. Los Angeles, August 17, 2021: Marvel Studios' next superhero gem, Shang Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings, is getting nearer to its much-awaited outright theatrical release, which is September 3. The Simu Liu fronted is touted to be a historical moment in MCU as it is the first Marvel film to feature an all Asian and Asian-American cast. ## Shang Chi, which is making its debut in MCU, was first announced by Marvel Studios at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, where Kevin Feige confirmed Simu Liu would play the Master of Kung Fu. The latest addition to the MCU's growing roster of heroes will rise in this origin story set after Avengers: Endgame when his father Wenwu (Tony Leung), who is the real Mandarin and leader of the Ten Rings, calls him back into action. ## It is also the first Marvel movie to get an exclusive theatrical release for 45-days in the pandemic era, unlike Scarlett Johansson-led Black Widow, which debuted on Disney+ premiere access and in theaters on the same day. Disney CEO Bob Chapek, however, has called Shang Chi's release an "experiment" amid the covid-19 pandemic, which got a response from the lead actor Simu Liu, who didn't seem too pleased with CEO's comment. ## Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the movie stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi alongside Awkwafina, Meng'er Zhang, Fala Chen, Florian Munteanu, Benedict Wong, Michelle Yeoh, and Tony Leung in prominant roles. Additionally, Tim Roth reprises his role as the Abomination from The Incredible Hulk (2008) and will be seen fighting with Shang Chi in the film. ## Marvel Studios held the world premiere of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings in Los Angeles on Monday, August 16. The cast, crew, and many other celebrities, as well as select entertainment journalists, attended the first showing of the highly anticipated MCU movie. Tamannaah Bhatia will be starring as the female lead alongside Riteish Deshmukh. Riteish is playing a matchmaker while Tamannah essays the role of a divorce lawyer. The movie, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, is based on the life of army captain Vikram Batra who sacrificed his life during the Kargil War. Before Shershaah, Karan had produced patriotic films like the Raazi, Kesari, and Gunjan Saxena, which became blockbusters. ## Now, according to reports, the renowned filmmaker is developing a script on the life of freedom fighter Usha Mehta, under his production banner Dharma Productions. Usha Mehta was a Gandhian and freedom fighter of India who ran an underground pirate radio called Congress Radio during the Quit India Movement and gave tough time to the British Government. ## Post-Independence, Usha Mehta was conferred with Padma Vibhushan, the second-highest civilian award of India. It is a heroic story of India's one of the unsung heroes and the creative team at Dharma has been working on this script for a while now. The script is said to be based on the play, Khar Khar, written by Amatya Goradia and Pritesh Sodha. The movie will be directed by Kannan Iyer, who is also writing the script with Darab Farooqui, as per pinkvilla. ## For Usha Mehta's biopic, Dharma Productions is currently in search of a top A-list actress who can do justice to the charactor. Apart from Mehta's biopic, Karan recently announced the untold story of C. Sankaran Nair, who fought legendary courtroom battle to uncover the truth about Jallianwala Bagh Massacre. ## Interestingly, it's not only Karan Johar who is bringing freedom fighters to life. Earlier in the day, producer Vishnu Vardhan Induri also announced a film franchise, Azad Hind, as a tribute to the unsung heroes of the Indian Independence fight. The first film in the franchise will bring to life the untold story of Veerangana Durgawati Devi popularly called Durga Bhabhi. ## Meanwhile, Karan Johar is gearing up to begin his directorial return film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Salman Khan To Produce And Star In A Jungle Adventure Film?

Mumbai, August 15, 2021: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is currently busy shooting for the Yash Raj Films' third installment of the Tiger franchise. The movie, which is yet to be announced officially, went on floors in March this year with Salman and Katrina, who reprise their roles as RAW and ISI agents respectively in the film. ## The film, being directed by Maneesh Sharma, has Emraan Hashmi on board to lock horns with Salman Khan as ISI agents. Hashmi's character is said to be smart, stylish, and far from any negative shade of character he has done previously and he gets into an ideological battle with Tiger. ## Apart from Tiger 3, Salman Khan is said to be producing and starring in a Jungle adventure film with a man vs nature concept, according to the film critic and trade analyst Sumit Kadel. The movie is said to be an ambitious project which is reportadly mounted on a mammoth budget of around Rs. 300 crores. Hyderabad, August 15, 2021: The much-awaited first glimpse of power star Pawan Kalyan as Bheemla Nayak from the upcoming Telugu movie being called as PSPK-Rana Movie, has been unveiled on the occasion of Independence Day. As expected, Pawan Kalyan's screen presence in the first glimpse is as powerful as his name. ## The first glimpse shows PSPK wearing a lungi and he is at his usual best in an action-packed role as Bheemla Nayak who takes on the goons and warns someone called Jani. We can also hear a dialogue exchange between Kalyan and Rana Daggubati in the last sequence, in which, Rana introduces himself as Daniel Shekar while Pawan Kalyan utters his name in style- Nayak… Bheemla Nayak, though their faces are not visible. ## At the end of the glimpse video, Pawan Kalyan while introducing himself as Bheemla Nayak, says that he doesn't need any caption, which also depicts his off-screen image. The glimpse is a treat for fans as Director Sagar K Chandra and Trivikram served complete mass meals, which perfectly suits Pawan Kalyan's mass image. ## Thaman S has again produced a thrilling experience with solid and rocking background music. Interestingly, all the working stills of the film saw Pawan Kalyan dressed in police khakis, unlike what we show in the glimpse video. The movie is the remake of Malayalam hit Ayyappanum Koshiyum, which saw Biju Menon and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles. PSPK will be reprising Biju's role in the film while Rana reprises Prithviraj's. ## The movie also stars Nithya Menen as the female lead. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments has bankrolled that film while Trivikram has penned the dialogues. The film marks Kalyan and Daggubati's first collaboration and it is scheduled to release on January 12, 2022, in theaters worldwide.
