Chennai, July 28, 2021: After returning from the US after completing Russo Brothers' Netflix movie "The Gray Man", Tamil superstar, Dhanush, had resumed shooting for his next film with the director Karthick Naren, referred to as #D43. Now, on Wednesday (July 28), the makers of the film have unveiled the first look and title of D43 on the actor's 37th birthday. ## The film, titled "Maaran" also stars Malavika Mohan playing the female lead. It is said that Dhanush and Malavika are both playing journalists in this film, which is said to be an emotional action thriller. Mumbai, July 28, 2021: Ajay Devgn and Priti Sinha are producing a web series on Disney Plus Hotstar, titled "Six Suspects", the official adaptation of author Vikas Swarup's 2016 book by the same name. The show reportadly went on floors in February 2021 end. ## Ajay and Priti had assigned Tigmanshu Dhulia to direct the show while Scam 1992 fame Pratik Gandhi and Richa Chadha roped in to play the leading roles. The web show will also star Ashutosh Rana, Raghubir Yadav, and Sharib Hashmi in important roles. ## The "Six Suspects" web series marks Ajay Devgn's digital debut as a producer as well as Priti Sinha's. Priti is the daughter of (late) Vinay Sinha who produced the Salman Khan-Aamir Khan-Raveena Tandon-Karisma Kapoor's unforgettable comedy 'Andaz Apna Apna' (1994). Priti is Ajay's rakhi sister.## It has been reported that Ajay and Priti have acquired the rights to two books of Swaroop- 'Six Suspects' and 'The Accidental Apprentice'. Dhulia has completed 50 percent of the show in places like Delhi, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Allahabad and is currently shooting in Mumbai. ## Vikas Swarup's book "Q & A" was adapted into the academy-award-winning film 'Slumdog Millionaire' directed by Danny Boyle. Hyderabad, July 27, 2021: The festival of Sankranthi 2022 is going to be epic for Telugu cinema lovers who will witness one of the biggest Box Office clashes on the auspicious occasion. Elaborating it further, Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata will be competing with Pawan Kalyan - Rana Daggubati's yet-untitled film on Sankranthi 2022. ## Directed by Saagar K Chandra, the PSPKRana movie is said to be the official Telugu remake of the 2020 Malayalam action thriller film, Ayyappanum Koshiyum. The Telugu remake marks Kalyan and Daggubati's first collaboration. Produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, the movie recently resumed shooting in Hyderabad. ## Pawan Kalyan is playing the role of a police inspector as Bheemla Nayak. Trivikram has penned the dialogues while Thaman S has composed the music of the film. Sithara Entertainment took to Twitter and shared a video giving a small glimpse from the sets of its #ProductionNo12 and also announced the release date. ## ## On the other hand, Sarkaru Vaari Paata was officially announced last year on 31 May 2020, on the occasion of Babu's father Krishna's birthday. Directed by Parasuram, the Geetha Govindam director called the project a "dream come true" moment as the movie marks his first collaboration with the actor. The movie also stars Keerthy Suresh as the female lead. ## Sarkaru Vaari Paata is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, 14 Reels Plus, and G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment while S. Thaman has composed the music. The movie is scheduled to release in January 2022 coinciding with Sankranti. ## Meanwhile, it is the second time in a row when Mahesh Babu's film with be clashing at the box office with another big star's movie. His last film "Sarileru Neekevvaru" had completed with Allu Arjun's "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" with both released one day apart. Mumbai, July 27, 2021: Last year in December, Mansi Bagla of Mimi Films acquired the Hindi remake rights of three South Indian films. One of the three films was the 2020 Malayalam crime thriller film, Forensic, starring Tovino Thomas, and Mamta Mohandas in the lead roles. For the Hindi remake, Vikrant Massey was roped in to step into the shoes of Tovino Thomas. ## Now, the makers have cast Radhika Apte to star alongside Vikrant in the film. Radhika will reprise the role of Mamta Mohandas as Senior Superintendent of Police. The movie will be directed by Vishal Furia, known for directing tv series, The Missing Stone among others. ## "There is a particular way to navigate thriller movies and with Forensic, it hits all the right notes. I am looking forward to starting this project and work with a talented costar like Vikrant and our director Vishal who has such a clear and interesting vision for this film", Radhika said in a statement. ## The first look of the suspense crime thriller was revealed on Tuesday. 'Forensic' will also mark the reunion of Vikrant and Furia, who have previously worked together on the web show 'Criminal Justice'. Talking about the upcoming film, Vikrant shared, "I have always believed in the story being the frontrunner for a film and when director Vishal Furia narrated the script to me, I was intrigued as an actor and as a member of the audience". ## It will be produced by Deepak Mukut, Mansi Bagla, and Varun Bagla under their banners of Soham Rockstar Entertainment Pvt Ltd, Mini Films, and co-produced by Hunar Mukut. Rudra, which is a Hindi adaptation of the British TV series "Luther" starring Idris Elba in the lead roles, was announced in April this year. ## The crime drama thriller series will have an ensemble cast featuring some very talented artists. In June, it was reported that South Indian actress, Raashii Khanna will play the female lead in the series. Confirming her inclusion, Applause Entertainment has brought the actress on board to star alongside Ajay. Mumbai, July 27, 2021: As theaters have reopened in most of the states of India, Hollywood production house, Warner Bros. has announced the release dates of its three much-awaited films - The Suicide Squad, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, and Mortal Kombat, in India. ## "Mortal Combat", and "The Conjuring 3" have already been released in international markets but were delayed in India due to the covid-19 pandemic. These two films will now release on July 30 and August 13 respectively in multiple Indian languages. "The Suicide Squad", however, will release in India on the same date as its international release on August 5. ## Martial arts fantasy film, Mortal Combat, had previously released in India in April in languages other than Hindi. The Suicide Squad and The Conjuring are popular franchises in India and are sure to attract audiences to the theatres on their names. ## "It is heartening to know that Warner Bros Pictures have announced the release dates of Mortal Kombat, The Suicide Squad 2, and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. The period drama film is touted to be India's one of the biggest films ever and it will feature some of the biggest stars of Indian cinema. ## Meanwhile, on Monday (July 26), India's biggest music labels - Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Lahari Music, have announced that they have bagged the music rights to SS Rajamouli's much-awaited film. Chandigarh, July 26, 2021: As the cinemas are reopening in the country, many filmmakers are gearing up for the release of their films. In this process, the makers of the long-awaited Punjabi film, Puaada, have announced a new theatrical release date. ## Puaada, a romantic-comedy film starring Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa, will be releasing in cinemas on August 12, 2021. Directed by Rupinder Chahal, Puaada, will be the first major Punjabi release since the covid-19 pandemic broke out in the country at the beginning of the last year. ## The film follows the love story of a Punjabi village boy, running a dairy farm and is in a relationship with Raunak, an air force officer's daughter.
