1 Year of Panipat: Kriti Sanon Reminisces About Her Role and Action Sequence in The Movie

Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker's film Panipat, starring Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Sanjay Dutt was released one year ago on this day (December 6). The movie depicts the events that took place during the Third Battle of Panipat in 1761 between the Maratha Empire and the invading Afghan army of Ahmad Shah Abdali played by Sanjay Dutt.## Kriti Sanon, who played the role of Parvati Bai, wife of Sadashiv Rao Bhau played by Arjun Kapoor in the movie, gets nostalgic remembering her role and the action sequence filmed on her in the movie. Kriti posted two videos from the film on Instagram. She shared the stills from her fight sequence in the movie.## For the caption, she chose her dialogue from the film. She wrote, "All I could think of while doing this sequence was: Duvidha ke aage, Jab naari jaage, Himmat se kaam le. Choodi utaare, Kangan utaare, Talvaar thaam le!"## She further added, "P.S. Bollywood actress Amrita Rao who recently blessed with a baby boy says the concept of visibility for an actor has changed because of social media and talent management firms, as compared to the time she made her Bollywood debut in 2002. ## "Before the era of social media and PR machinery that we are seeing these days, an actor's popularity and celebrity status was a byproduct of his or her talent. When I entered the industry as a teenager, people noticed me because of my performance. These days, actors are becoming popular also because of their presence on social media. I think for an actor, being remembered for a character and film is more important", Amrita told IANS.## Amrita, who made her Bollywood debut with Ab Ke Baras, was shot to fame with movies like Ishq Vishk, Main Hoon Na, Masti, and Vivah. Though she shared screen space with superstar Shah Rukh Khan in Main Hoon Na, she was praised for her character of Sanjana in the movie. ## "There is nothing wrong with becoming a popular celebrity on social media, just that there is a huge change that has happened. I entered the industry during the transition period. Earlier, it was important to have the talent and as an artiste, we used to sharpen our skills. Now there is something called talent management!
