Actor Sonu Sood, who had earlier announced that he was penning his experience of helping migrant workers during the lockdown period into a book, has now titled his book, 'I Am No Messiah'. The book will be written in the first person, revealing the emotional challenges the actor faced while going all-out in helping the migrant workers. ## "People have been very kind and have lovingly named me a messiah. But I really do believe that I am no messiah. I simply do what my heart tells me to. It is our responsibility as human beings to be compassionate and help each other", Sonu shared.## The actor has not only helped migrant workers to reach their homes but also started an initiative to provide them jobs which they lost due to the covid-19 pandemic. ## "I want to thank god for making me a catalyst in helping the migrants. While my heartbeats in Mumbai, after this movement I feel a part of me lives in the villages of UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam, Uttarakhand, and various other states, where I have now found new friends and made deep connections. Government of India Brings OTT Platforms and Digital News Outlets Under I&B Ministry

Coming as a significant move, the governement of India has brought the OTT platforms, such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, SonyLIV, ZEE5, Disney+Hotstar among many others, along with news websites, under the purview of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.## The central government's move to bring the OTT platforms under the I&B ministry could also mean that these platforms would have to apply for certification and approval of the content they wish to stream from the I&B ministry. ## The move is clearly a big setback for the OTT platforms which will now they have to keep a check on the content they made. Filmmaker Hansal Mehta who recently saw immense success with his web series Scam 1992 expressed his disappointment at the government's order. ## Talking to indianexpress.com, the director said, "While this decision wasn't unexpected, it is still a reason for despair. This desperation for control of free speech and expression does not augur well. I am currently very disappointed".## Karan Anshuman, known for directing web series like Inside Edge and Mirzapur, called the move "unacceptable". Taking to Twitter, "Unacceptable. Viewers and creators have to band together and challenge censorship in any and every manner!".## "Whatever happened to the understanding with Mr Javadekar that OTT will be self-regulated? While most of the top filmmakers are competing to release their films on over-the-top (OTT) platforms, the makers of the upcoming satirical comedy-drama film, Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari have decided to go for the theatrical release.## Directed by Abhishek Sharma, Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari is scheduled to release theatrically on 15 November 2020, coinciding with Diwali. The Manoj Bajpayee, Diljit Dosanjh, and Fatima Sana Shaikh starrer becomes the first Hindi film to come out post the reopening of cinemas.## Speaking about the theatrical release of the film, director Abhishek Sharma said that OTT platforms are the "death of cinema". ## "I've never been okay with a digital release, my thoughts on this are well known. For me, the cinema belongs to the theatre. I'm really thankful to the production house for giving me that push for theatre, even in these times and Inshallah we'll be the first film to come out in theatres.
