IPL 2020: Defending Champions Mumbai Indians To Clash With Chennai Super Kings In Tournament Opener

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the schedule of the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League 2020, on Sunday (September 6). Defending and 4 times champions, Mumbai Indians will take on 3 times winners, Chennai Super Kings in the tournament opener on September 19 in Abu Dhabi. ## The tournament will be played in three venues which are Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah. In all, 24 matches will be held in Dubai while 20 match will be played in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah will host 12 matches. ## The action will move to Dubai from Abu Dhabi on September 20 when Delhi Capitals will kick-off their campaign against Kings XI Punjab, followed by Sunrisers Hyderbad's opening match against Royal Challengers Bangalore on September 21. Sharjah's first match is on September 22 when the first-season finalists, Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings take on each other. ## This year, there will be 10 double headers while rest of the matches are scheduled to be played in the evening. The first of 10 scheduled double headers, will be held on October 3 when Royal Challangers Banglore will be against Rajasthan Royals.## Afternoon games will start at 3:30 PM IST (14:00 UAE time) while the regular evening games will begin at 7:30 PM IST (18:00 UAE Time).## Five of the 10 day games will be hosted by Abu Dhabi. Dubai will host four afternoon matches, while Sharjah will have only one match starting at 2 PM. All teams will play a minimum of two day games, with only RCB, KKR, RR and SRH set to play in three.## Talking about who will play where, Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders will play 8 of their league matches in Abu Dhabi, while Sunrisers Hyderabad will play 8 of their games in Dubai. The maximum games Chennai Super Kings, Kings XI Punjab, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals will play at a venue is 7 each in Dubai.## On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals will play six games in Dubai and 5 will play in Abu Dhabi while all teams will play three games each in Sharjah. Probing the drugs angle linked to Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) yesterday had arrested Rhea Chakraborty's brother, Showik, Sushant's house manager Samuel Miranda and Dipesh Sawant, a member of the actor's personal staff. ## A day after, the NCB again summoned the actress to join the investigation and further questioning in the late actor's case. Narcotics Control Bureau Arrests Rhea Chakraborty's Brother And Samuel Miranda In Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case

Coming as a big development in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested Rhea Chakraborty's brother Showik Chakraborty and Sushant Singh Rajput's house manager, Samuel Miranda on Friday, September 4. ## According to NCB officials, the duo was arrested after 10 hours of questioning and after the agency got adequate evidence against them about their involvement in the drug case.## Earlier in the day, the NCB also carried out a raid at the residences of Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda. The department also seized Showik's laptop and mobile phone.## The NCB had also told a court that Showik used to order ganja and marijuana at the behest of her sister Rhea from drug-peddler Abdul Basit Parihar, who has been arrested and made payments to him over Google Pay.## Showik and Miranda will be produced before a court on Saturday.
