Filmmaker Karan Johar To Be Questioned By Mumbai Police In Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case

In the latest development under the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, Mumbai Police have asked Dharma Productions owner Karan Johar to record his statement before Mumbai Police this week. Mumbai Police will also record Dharma Production CEO Apoorva Mehta's statement on Tuesday in the Sushant's case.## Earlier in the day, director Mahesh Bhatt recorded his statement. Mr. Bhatt reached the Santacruz police station at 11:30 AM and recorded his statements before Deputy Commissioner of Police Abhishek Trimukhe.## Apart from Mahesh Bhatt, Karan Johar's manager and actor Kangana Ranaut have been asked to join investigations into the case, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said on Sunday. ## Kangana Ranaut who has been very vocal in this case and even alleged that Sushant Singh Rajput was a victim of nepotism in the film industry, has also been summoned by the Bandra police, which is investigating the case. She is currently in Himachal Pradesh since March 17, has requested police to send a team to the state to record her statement in person.## Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his apartment in Mumbai on June 14. ICC Launches Cricket World Cup Super League To Determine Qualification For The Men's ODI World Cup 2023

In the view of the big development in the Cricket, on Monday (July 27), the International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially launched the Cricket World Cup Super League which will kick start with the forthcoming ODI series between England and Ireland, beginning on July 30. ## The World Cup Super League which was first announced in June 2018, will be used to determine the qualification scenario for the ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023 which is scheduled to take place in India in October-November 2023. ## A total of 13 teams (12 Full Members & Netherlands) with each side to play four home & four away 3-match series will feature in this Cricket World Cup Super League. And top 7 teams, besides team India, will secure direct qualification to the 2023 World Cup.## All the 13 teams which will participate in this league, will get 10 points for a win, 5 points for no result, or Tie. Firstly, it became the most-watched Indian movie on the OTT platform in the first 24 hours with approximately 75 Million people watched this and now, it has become the highest-rated Indian movie on IMDb (Internet Movie Database). ## According to IMDb, over 75,000 people have rated the movie and its overall user rating is 9.7 which is the highest so far for an Indian movie. It surpassed the previously top-ranked Kamal Haasan and Madhavan's Tamil movie Anbe Sivam (2003) that's overall rating is 8.8. Oscar-winning music composer and singer AR Rahman who has been receiving a lot of appreciation for the music he gave in Dil Bechara revealed that he is not getting enough work in the Bollywood because of a gang working against him and spreading rumors about him. ## In an interview with Radio Mirchi, AR Rahman who composed 9 songs of Sushant Singh Rajput's last film Dil Bechara was asked why he doesn't compose more music for Bollywood movies to which he said that "See, I don't say no to good movies, but I think there is a gang, which, due to misunderstandings, is spreading some false rumors about him".## During the interview, he also revealed that Mukesh Chhabra who directed Dil Bechara was told many false stories about him and advised not to approach him for composing music for his debut directorial. ## "When Mukesh Chhabra came to me, I gave him four songs in two days. He said, Sir, how many people said don't go, don't go (to him). They told me stories after stories. I heard that, and I said, Yeah okay, now I understand why I am doing less work and why the good movies are not coming to me. I am doing dark movies because there is a whole gang working against me, without them knowing that they are doing harm".## While saying that he is aware of what people expect from him but the 'gang' in Bollywood is 'preventing' him from fulfilling those expectations. He told Radio Mirchi "People are expecting me to do stuff, but there is another gang of people preventing that from happening. It is fine because I believe in destiny. I believe that everything comes from God. So, I am taking my own movies and doing my other stuff. But all of you are welcome to come to me. You make beautiful movies, and you are welcome to come to me".## AR Rahman has multiple accolades to his name.
