Vignesh Shivan's Tamil romantic comedy Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal is likely to kickstart in August after the nationwide lockdown lifted and shooting activities resume. Apart from the direction, Vignesh Shivan has also penned it and was happy to announce his favorite script. ## The film will have a dynamic trio of Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha Akkineni, and Nayanthara in the lead roles. Samantha Akkineni and Nayanthara will be sharing the screen space for the first time whereas both have already worked with Vijay Sethupathi in Super Deluxe and Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, respectively. ## Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal was likely to go on floors in April but the coronavirus pandemic and the nationwide lockdown forced the makers to push the film. Now, makers have revealed that it will kickstart in August. ## The movie is produced by Rowdy Pictures, Seven Screen Studio while Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music of the film. Johnny Depp is known for his iconic act of an eccentric pirate Captain Jack Sparrow in one of the most successful film series across the globe 'Pirates of the Caribbean' which started in 2003. The series has already completed 5 parts of it with the last part released in 2017.## Apart from being a great actor, Depp is often seen doing some other activities such as playing guitar and painting. One such painting which he started in the year of the second part of the Pirates of the Caribbean, 'Dead Man's Chest' in 2006, has made Depp nostalgic remembering about the painting. ## Remembering about that painting, the 56-year old actor couldn't stop himself writing about his painting passion which would give him pure, intense focus and devotion to for months on end. ## Sharing the painting from 2006 on I, he wrote, "It’s odd, the things that we once gave such pure, intense focus and devotion to for months on end. However, New Zealand was also among the affected countries and was in the lockdown but the situation has improved a lot there and the production work has been allowed to resume. ## Directed by James Cameron, the initial release date of the film is scheduled for December 17, 2021 (US). A few days after Suresh Raina urged BCCI to allow Indian players to participate in the foreign T20 tournaments, Robin Uthappa too has the same willingness to play in overseas leagues and urges BCCI to let them go to partake in at least 2 overseas T20 leagues. ## Speaking to BBC, Robin Uthappa said, "Please let us go, honest to God. It does hurt when we're not allowed to go and play ... It would be so nice if we could go and play at least a couple of others because as a student of the game you want to learn and grow as much as you can."## Apart from women cricketers who are allowed to play in overseas leagues, BCCI has never allowed men players to play overseas tournaments. However, Robin Uthappa is hopeful that BCCI current president Sourav Ganguly will look into this matter and his progressive thinking will pave a way forward. ## "Ganguly is a very progressive thinking human being, someone who has always looked to take India to the next level. He actually laid the foundation for where India cricket is now," said Uthappa. "We're hoping that he will look at this at some point," Uthappa said. ## The 34-year old, Karnataka born cricketer, Uthappa was a part of India squad that won the inaugural T20I World Cup in 2007 in South Africa under the captaincy of MS Dhoni.
