Bell Bottom filming to begin in August 2020 in the UK

Akshay Kumar's Bell Bottom is all set to begin filming from August 2020. It will be among the first films to start shooting post nationwide lockdown while first Indian film to commence shooting in the foreign destinations. The entire cast of the film including Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, and Lara Dutta will head to the UK in August for the shoot.





Producer of the film, Jackky Bhagnani took to social media and shared the news of film's shootings. He also shared a picture that shows Akshay sitting over a vintage luxury car and the three female actors Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, and Lara Dutta standing beside it. Producer Jackky Bhagnani is seen sitting on the footstep of the car. Director Ranjit M Tewari can also be seen in the picture.





Bell Bottom is an espionage thriller film directed by Ranjit M Tewari and written by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Shaikh. Its story is set in the 1980s and is all about one of India’s forgotten heroes. Vaani Kapoor is the latest addition and she will be as the female lead opposite Akshay.





The film is being produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani under the banner of Pooja Entertainment, in association with Emmay Entertainment.





Akshay Kumar had unveiled the first look of the movie in November last year. The movie is scheduled to release on 2 April 2021.





Apart from Bell Bottom, Akshat Kumar is gearing up for the Laxmmi Bomb which will be premiered on Disnet+Hotstar before Sooryavanshi which was earlier scheduled to release in March will now release on Diwali in theaters.
