In the main event of WWE Money in the Bank,
The Usos (Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso) achieved a victory over Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. The match concluded with Jey Uso pinning Reigns after delivering multiple superkicks with his twin brother and executing an Uso splash.
This marked the first time Reigns has been pinned since December 15, 2019, when he suffered a loss against Baron Corbin. Reigns continues to hold the prestigious Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Towards the end of the match, Reigns attempted to pin both Usos after Solo executed a Samoan spike on Jimmy, followed by a spike/spear combo by Reigns and Solo on Jey. However, the Usos displayed resilience and managed to kick out. Solo eventually eliminated himself from the match by missing a splash through the table on Jimmy.
Following a spear, Roman made a pin attempt on Jey, but Jey countered by low blowing Roman, leading to the match's conclusion. The opening salvo in the Bloodline Civil War was fired by Jimmy at WWE Night of Champions when he superkicked Reigns during the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Title bout, where Reigns and Sikoa faced Kevin Owens and
Sami Zayn. Jey subsequently stood by his brother's side on a subsequent episode of SmackDown, delivering his own superkick to Reigns.
