PWInsider is reporting that Vince McMahon has been pulled from the internal talent roster. The move happened earlier this week.
Now, WWE continues to make changes now with Triple H running creative and with Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan as co-CEOs. McMahon was also listed as a talent not assigned to any specific brand.
The company created this designation for his occasional appearances on Raw and SmackDown. It's the latest move that shows the company is indeed moving on from McMahon, in the wake of the latest scandals involving women who previously worked for the company.
As noted, Following claims of hush-money agreements McMahon paid over alleged affairs with former WWE employees, McMahon stepped down as CEO and chairman of WWE on June 17, 2022 pending the conclusion of an internal investigation and was replaced by his daughter, Stephanie McMahon. On July 22, 2022, McMahon announced his retirement from WWE.
Since the move, WWE fans have already seen some of the changes on television. This past Monday's episode of Raw was formatted differently and featured more in-ring action and fewer attempts at comedy.
