Pensacola, 2 August 2023 - Roman Reigns is set to face Jey Uso with the Undisputed WWE World Championship and the 'Tribal Chief' status on the line at SummerSlam 2023.



Following a brutal assault on Jimmy Uso, leaving him without backup against the Bloodline, a high-stakes match between Reigns and Jey was announced for SummerSlam. During a contract signing segment on SmackDown, a dramatic twist occurred as Jey Uso took charge, declaring the bout at SummerSlam 2023 to be a Tribal Combat – an idea put forth by the elders and officially sanctioned.
The upcoming clash at SummerSlam holds immense significance, as not only will the Undisputed WWE World Championship be at stake, but Jey Uso will also have the opportunity to claim the title of the new Tribal Chief.



Despite the focus on SummerSlam, WWE has already started promoting future events. The latest poster for Survivor Series has been unveiled, raising questions as Roman Reigns' name is conspicuously absent from the lineup. This unexpected omission has left many wondering about the Head of the Table's availability for the prestigious November event in Chicago.



Plush, After SummerSlam this weekend, WWE will put on Payback and Fastlane in September and October respectively, and Reigns will reportedly be on neither show. With no mention of the WarGames concept in the poster, which was anticipated due to its introduction last year, fans are curious about its potential abandonment.
